April Fool's & Various
Me again, with several things to say:

1. April Fool's Day is coming up, so I thought we'd have another little event. This time WWW has a new product - Tongue Twisters! In the days running up to April 1st characters will see boxes of these beautiful chocolates lying around at Finnigan's, the Leaky and being sent as gifts to the Ministry, Daily Prophet, St Mungo's, etc with little 'FREE SAMPLE' stickers. On April 1st any character who has eaten one will suffer one of the following conditions:

a. Must refer to themselves in the third person.
b. Unable to use anyone's first name.
c. Must only use words of one syllable.
d. Unable to use the words 'yes' or 'no'.
e. Unable to use words which begin with the same letter as their first name.

These conditions affect speech only, not the written word, and will last until midnight. Unless your character is able to track down and shake hands with someone who is suffering the same condition, in which case both characters will be cured immediately. (Each character can only cure one other character.)

If you want to play, please comment with your character(s) before Tuesday 31st March. Conditions will be allocated randomly unless you have a special request.

2. Schedule - I've decided I'm going to start posting a weekly schedule which will look something like this:

Monday 30th March - Gobstones
Tuesday 31st March - Pub Quiz - General Knowledge + Potions Bonus Round
Tuesday 31st March - Duelling Club - Shielding spells + One-on-one practice
Wednesday 1st April - April Fool's Day
Wednesday 1st April - Choir
Thursday 2nd April - Wizarding Chess Championship - Mrs Wiseacre (NPC) v Tristan Travers
Friday 3rd April - Good Friday - Bank Holiday
Friday 3rd April - Open Mike Night - Instrumental
Saturday 4th April -
Sunday 5th April - Easter Sunday - Bank Holiday
Sunday 5th April - Millicent's Birthday
Sunday 5th April - Battlescars - Nightmares & Sleeping

If you have any ideas for themes for the quiz / duelling club / open mike night / battlescars, or any other special events or activities you want to have added you can e-mail / IM / contact me or comment to any of the other schedules. Ideas will be welcomed and appreciated by yours truly.

3. Activity Check is happening next Wednesday (April 1st) so make sure your characters have three journal posts / logs by then if possible.

Th-th-th-th-th-th-that's all folks!

I was going to draw the effects randomly, but I could allow for special requests.

And yes, absolutely. I've been meaning to do one, I'm just not quite sure how to structure it. My immediate thought is to just let everyone's characters jump in and out at random, rather than trying to follow a strict A-B-C-A order as we would in other threads. I am open to suggestions, though.

My special request is basically to lumber Dean with b and resorting to calling Seamus 'Gorgeous' for reasons. *cough* Also because of the vague residual thing from when they were messing with Susan.
