Hey friends! I'm Emily, and Bill Weasley is here to enchant .

BOOM, SUCH ENCHANTING.

Bill is the eldest child of the Weasley horde, a former Gryffindor, married to Fleur, and currently the Deputy Head of International Cursebreaking with Gringotts (so fancy). He's a laid back sort of guy (fatherhood hasn't changed that), and he's generally friendly-- except for certain times in the lunar cycle. He's suffered more effects from being attacked by Fenrir Greyback than anybody aside from Fleur (and probably Charlie) really knows about, but he's determined to deal with it on his own. He loves his family more than life itself, but he's also still working on finding a proper balance between his girls and an advancing career.

For plotting purposes:
• Weasleys! Throw anything and everything Bill's way. He's always been an attentive, nonjudgmental listener, and making sure that his siblings are healthy and happy is very important to him.
• Co-workers and colleagues! Cursebreakers are bound to have encountered him at work at some point, and he's known to show his face around the Ministry/Dept. of International Magical Cooperation for meetings. He loves talking about the time he spend working with Egypt, and would be happy to take a cursebreaker with similar interests under his wing.
• Order members! Bill's pretty private about his feelings regarding things that happened in the war, but there are just some things that he's not comfortable sharing with family. It'd be great to have long-term friends who can share experiences with him.
• Any other idea you can toss at him!

Hi Emily, I'm Jess and I have 5 here:

Harry Potter - Obviously loves Bill (and family), and he has half custody of Teddy so we should do playdates? And other things! All the things.

Ben Stebbins - a Hufflepuff from the twins' year, he was bffs with Cedric Diggory and often spent school holidays at Cedric's house so might have met Bill way back when that way? Bartends at Finnigan's, and is a musician

Pansy Parkinson - Ultra-bitch, but she does stuff wtih advertising/promoting/agenting/publicity/etc so she's had to curb her natural tendencies somewhat through the years.

Lisa Turpin - Muggleborn from Harry's year, she spent most of the last 7 years in San Francisco and only moved back a few months ago. She owns What the Book, and has a 7 year old son. Also, no idea who the Weasleys are, and why she should recognize them from red hair and freckles.

Terry Boot - Keeper for the Bats, enjoys blowing shit up in his spare time. He'd be friendly enough, if not outgoing. Likes to be naked when all possible, but not in a sexual way.

	Hey Jess! Playdates all around for Teddy and Victoire and Dominique for now (you know Bill's not Teddy's biggest fan during his teenage years)! I think Bill would know Stebbins as somebody associated with the twins, but perhaps not much beyond that? For the others, I am happy to explore all of the possibilities in game! Hey! Jaime here, I wrote you briefly - here's my quick links to my character bios. Now for my people:

Percy: Doesn't know Bill at all ;) It seems he actually beat Bill & Fleur to the 'achievement' of "parent of first Weasley grandchild" - Percy has been following Bill his entire life in one way, shape, or form, whether it be as 2nd Prefect/HeadBoy in the family, or wearing his hand-me-downs. Percy is quite happy with Fleur as a sister-in-law and thinks it's the best decision Bill has ever made, and he deeply regrets missing the wedding - but he felt it was the best thing to do at the time, as otherwise the chaos of his showing up might have taken away from his brother. Would love to see what you see in their potential sibling relationship, particularly when it comes to the Big Split.

Ernie: Healer extraordinaire, has of course heard of the famous Bill Weasley but probably hasn't met him before - would love to change that ;)

Gemma: Former Slytherin / Current black market acquirer and spa runner, Bill was probably in his before last or last year of school when she was banned from quidditch for nearly (accidentally) killing another player, so she may have some infamy ;)

Vikesh: Ballycastle Bats beater, Ravenclaw, Hindu spiritualist/yoga teacher/meditation leader. Am up for encounters!

Hey Jaime!

I think that Bill just sort of chalks Percy's decisions during that era to mixed up priorities. In fact, Percy's decisions have probably helped Bill keep focus on where his priorities should be-- with his family-- throughout the years. They're very similar in the fact that they are both very goal-oriented/high achievers, and Bill's got a lot of competing interests between work and family. He's just glad that Percy was able to wise up and set things right. Just don't hate Bill if Don't be Perce is a personal mantra.

	I do see a lot of similarities, though Percy may see it all in a different way than his brother (e.g. doesn't see the initial situation as "work vs family" because there were many other factors involved, a lot of which was pride on both Percy and Arthur's sides). I won't hate Bill for his mantra, though I can't speak for Percy if he ever found out :-p (Reply to this) (Parent)

Hi there! Yay, and welcome! We talked very briefly, but I'm Jasmine, and I have three kids here at the moment. Welcome!

My first is Rolf Scamander (

outofthewild). Hufflepuff before Bill's time, but a friendly, outgoing guy who likes to help people. His family is relatively well known. He might make Bill's acquaintance through his girlfriend Rose Zeller (who he's absolutely crazy about). He works at his family shop and rescue, The Bestiary, and is open for random or whatever.

My second is Pandora Montgomery (this journal). Her CS is probably best to read, but summarized, she was a Slytherin, her mother is head of the MLE, and she was forced to be a DE to protect her family, went crazy at the end of the war and killed a bunch of DEs and yes. Now she's a Charms Mistress for the shop Inside and Out and works with Richard Summerby, and is trying to get her life together.

And my last, which we talked about in passing, is Viktor Krum (

snitch_snatcher). He and Fleur are good friends, and he attended their wedding. His now-daughter is just a little older than Victoire, so there are playdates. I hope the two of them can be good friends, and that maybe Bill might find a good listening ear in him sometimes.

	Hello, I'm Christie and for the moment I have 3. Blaise Zabini and Marietta Edgecombe don't really know him but will be polite if paths cross. Hermione is forever grateful to him and Fleur for the time at the cottage. She sees him as family no matter what the status is between her and Ron and hopes he'll do the same. Hello, Emily! I'm Angel, and I just have Millicent, so this will be shorter than everyone else's. ;) Mils would know the last name, but probably not much else about Bill, and would probably be a little retiring around him because she wouldn't know if he'd care about her background in the Inquisitorial Squad and her family's attitude (they weren't Death Eaters, but lord, some of them are snobs). Any meet-up would likely be random, but I look forward to seeing what we can come up with from that! Welcome to the group!

I'm Kat, and I have 4 peeps here:

Alicia Spinnet (technically it's Fawley, but she still goes by Spinnet -

_alicia_) - Gryffindor, 2 years older than the trio, and friends with George, later Percy, and I think Fleur, too. She's the single (widowed) mother of Liam and Isla (twins, 6 this December, born in 1998), dating Adrian Pucey, part-time Healer for Pride of Portree, and co-founder of the Fawley Foundation (and there's a charity thing this Saturday. Non-romantic dates are raffled off, so.... yes? It should be fun). Like with Fleur and Percy, she may know Bill through the twins as well, because I think that until the Final Battle, she would have only heard of him, and I'm not sure how much she actually remembers from that night.

Melinda Bobbin (

_melinda_) - Ravenclaw, 1 year older than the trio. Melinda owns and run Sweet Nothings, the pâtisserie in Monument Alley (there will be a menu eventually, but assume that if there's a cake, pastry or dessert that you want, she'll either have it or make it... except macarons). She's dating Oliver Wood, and other than as a customer, I don't think she would know who Bill is. She's sweet, though, very sweet.

Finbar Quigley (

_finbar_) - Ravenclaw, several years older than the trio... he was in the year between Bill and Charlie, Beater and Captain for Ballycastle Bats and the Irish National Team. He's an alright guy who loves the limelight, though is keeping the true extent of his ex-wife's insanity from the press - he recently moved to London after she burned his house down. Long story. But he's nice. He's friends with Charlie, so Bill might also know him, or of him.

and last but not least:
Rose Zeller (

_rose_) - Hufflepuff, 4 years younger than the trio, and Cursebreaker. She's just started her last year of training, moving from basic training at the bank to go on missions with the team that works out of the London branch (returned from Indonesia yesterday - Wednesday). If Rose was the fangirl type, which she isn't, Bill would definitely be the object of her fanishness. She does, however, look up to him, because Bill? Yeah, he's pretty much a legend, right? I don't know how you see his position (workwise) in relations to the trainees, but he may have been the recipient of not quite friendly Owls from Rose's parents, encouraging him to boot her from the program. Long story. Would love to talk and work things out there :)

Hey, Kat!

I love that there are multiple ways for Bill to know people now. With Alicia, there's the connection with his siblings, but also their kids! The Fawley Foundation is a cool idea-- I'd love for Bill to be able to contribute in some way.

As for Fin, I would love it if he and Bill could be friends! Maybe they were friendly during school, but have sort of reconnected in the time since Bill's been living back in England or after the war? Either that, or it'd be interesting if the two of them know one another, but just sort of rub one another the wrong way. What're your thoughts?

Rose! I'm so excited for another cursebreaker! Cursebreakers are Bill's tribe-- they just get it. As for his position at Gringotts, I see him as the guy who oversees international missions due to his past experience. He spends most of his time in London managing things, but I could see him taking port keys once a week to check on various important projects. So maybe he and Rose have had some field experience together? As for Rose's parents, Bill would never discourage anybody from becoming a cursebreaker unless he knew that person would be putting themselves in a danger that they weren't capable of handling.

I know! It's great, and that goes for me too, for all of my characters. As for Bill contributing, well right now there's the fundraiser on Saturday, which is nice and concrete, otherwise, Alicia usually announces for volunteers when it's needed and you're alway welcome to come up with ideas if there's anything you'd like to see him do or involved in.

Fin's generally an easy-going guy, so I haven't a clue how he would react to Bill... who also seems easy going. So yep, he would know who Bill is, and then we can try them out see how they get along before deciding if they're friends or buddies or rub each other the wrong way. I am good with either, sometimes it's just difficult to predict.

Oh, I'm excited about more Cursebreakers too! So far she's "only" had Eddie Carmichael and they... bicker. lol. Rose has only just started travelling, as in she finished basic training at the bank this summer and has so far only been on two missions, and just returned from Indonesia this Wednesday. When it comes to Rose's parents... no, I didn't expect Bill to have tried to discourage her, but they're not happy about her chosen profession (as very theoretical historians they find Cursebreaking sometihng akin to raping history, and have been trying to convince her to stop - which is the only one-way communication she's had with them since she was 14... long story). What I'm trying to get at is, that Bill may know about her background, which she is very, very private about, though she's very open about just about anyhting else.

Hello, welcome to the game! I'm Kaylie, I make some attempt to run this place. I will get Bill added to the cast list etc in the next few days, honest.

I have five kids, though I don't think any of them will know Bill well:

1. Seamus Finnigan (openbottle), pub landlord, recognises most customers by sight, will almost certainly know Bill by name if only because of his family connections. Probably invited Bill to Battlescars but wouldn't push if he said no.

2. Greg Goyle (goyle_g), works for George Weasley at his shop (we do have a George, but his player is on hiatus). Again, will recognise Bill as 'a Weasley' but unlikely to take much interest beyond that, though he did get on surprisingly well with Percy.

3. Dominic Chambers (knowhow), pub handyman, was a year younger than Ron but probably won't know Bill personally. He's friendly, though, and thinks both Fleur and Bill are extremely good looking.

4. Lucy Spinks (addingvalue), Hufflepuff in Ron's year, works and lives in the muggle world right now, will have no idea at all who Bill is.

5. Bryony Capper (goodlight), apprentice artist, exceedingly shy, Ravenclaw from an almost-all Slytherin pureblood family.

I would love for Bill to become more open to the idea of the Battlescars group-- it's something that could be really beneficial for him and the people around him, he just hasn't gotten the push he needs yet. I think Seamus's acceptance of his reluctance would definitely give him a positive impression about it, though. I would love for them to chat about it!

This is Charlie, recently returned brother and excellent uncle! I look forward to chatting details of backstory etc. if you'd like but he returned to the country earlier in the year after losing most of his right leg to a poisonous dragon bite. He now runs the club on Monument Alley (Wingbeat). He's asexual which he's been pretty comfy with for years but only recently learned the word. He shares a flat with Romi who runs the sex shop. Opinions on this vary! He's so pleased to see his brother. He also swears a lot, but can curb it around children.

I have (

artistdean), Dean Thomas who didn't know Bill by more than name prior to spending a month or so hidden at his house. He's now an artist and part-time bartender for Seamus. He has pretty heavy (but well managed) PTSD. He likes Bill though, and I imagine he trusts him more than he does a fair few people because he feels Bill earned it. He might have asked to come down to Shell Cottage at some point to do some painting maybe.

And finally Gwenog Jones (

haveyoumet_), who is a muggleborn Slytherin about 3 years older than Bill. They'd have been at school at the same time, and she was probably a bit notorious, especially when she got on the quidditch team. She's now even more notorious for being spiky, acerbic, angry and blatantly sexual (with a general preference for women).

BILL LOVES CHARLIE. Besties since birth? I'm sure that Charlie reminds Bill of his life when everything was much less... domestic. Not that he would change things, but from time to time, a reminder is very helpful! Bill doesn't care about what Charlie does or who he lives with so long as he's happy and healthy and will listen to Bill rant and rave about brotherly, manly things.

I would love to explore the relationship between Bill and Dean-- there are a lot of very interesting things with their shared past from the war that I would love to chat about. And I'm up for anything random with Gwenog!

Yes, yes definitely besties since forever. Charlie kind of likes seeing the domestic, although he sort of thinks he'll never get it himself.

Oh, yes I'd love to explore that too. In a previous game with a similar Dean Bill was actually one of the ones to rescue him when he had a breakdown and first major PTSD episode. His timeline isn't quite the same this time, but I'd love to see what we could work out. He was definitely a mess for a while after holding it together for a month until Seamus got out of hospital.

Wayne Hopkins, a Hufflepuff from the trio's year, who is a bit down and out since he dropped out of Hogwarts. Trying to get his act together. It's working...sort of. But yeah, he's a pretty swell kid (if I do say so myself). He also knows where you could get some green, if your characters are into that.

Oh, and he has a kid sometimes.

Hi, I'm Natasha and I have three:

Lavender Brown - Hit Wizard and and general sweetheart. She was also attached by Fenrir Greyback and bears a fair few scars from it as well (though her physical ones are on her throat, rather than her face). She totally gets his desire of red meat so rare it's practically still moving. And she also runs the Duelling Club at Finnigan's. So I'm not sure how much their paths might have crossed over their years?

Bryn Cadwallader - A Hufflepuff a year older than the Trio. He wouldn't really know Bill, but he works behind the bar at Finnigan's and also at Sweet Nothings, so he's one of those faces people tend to see around.

Emma Dobbs - A baby Hufflepuff who works in the Monument Alley sex shop, Quickpulse, and also as an escort. So I don't think Bill would know her unless he ever comes into the shop.

I think that Bill attends dueling club from time to time, although he's not the sort to make a regular habit out of it. I would love it if Bill and Lavender were able to form some sort of connection after her experience with Greyback. Could he have visited her after the attack? Or maybe just written to her or her family to let her know that she wasn't alone? Aside from that, I think he'd only know her as Ron's non-Hermione romantic interest.

	I'd love it if they'd formed some sort of connection. She was in St. Mungo's for a while after the battle because of her injuries, so she probably would have welcomed a visitor or letters from who she could actually believe when they said it wasn't the end of the world! (Reply to this) (Parent)

Hi Emily! Welcome to the game! I'm Dylan and I have three peeps here that you may find interesting.

Firstly: Susan Bones

susanamybones She's a Hufflepuff Auror from Harry's year - so she works with Ron and Harry, and also to an extent with Percy. She was in the DA and fought in the war, where she had a bit of breakdown that resulted in her killing most of the death eaters responsible for her aunt's death. She also knows quite a few cursebreakers so there's all sort of room for interaction I think?

Secondly: Roger Davies

rogeringdaviesHe's a Ravenclaw Chaser for the Appleby Arrows who went to the Yule Ball with Fleur but is kind of in love with Marcus Flint - so we could play up all kinds of things depending if he and Fleur are friends and therefore he and Bill are friends?

Thirdly: Dennis Creevey

dennisthebrave He's a Gryffindor reporter for the Daily Prophet. He reports mainly for the crime desk, but recently followed a bunch of cursebreakers around in Indonesia and has a whole bunch of Cursebreaker mates so I think they could at least know one another. He could interview Bill for something and go from there?

Hello there Emily! I'm Jinx, and I am late to this welcoming party, but I've got two kids here.

This here is Marcus Flint, and there might have been some overlap in their time at Hogwarts. Marcus was a Death Eater during the war because his father blackmailed him into it, and then spent four years in Azkaban after the final battle. Nowadays he plays Chaser for the Appleby Arrows.

I also have Stacey Rivers (

pinkyink) who was a Hufflepuff of the '99 variety and a Muggleborn, so she has no idea who Bill is, though that won't stop her from being friendly. She owns a tattoo parlor in Monument Alley and has the energy level of a puppy on seven shots of espresso.

Hello, Jinx!

I think there are two years of overlap in Bill and Marcus's time at Hogwarts, but I doubt they had any interaction at that time. Bill might question the decision to allow Marcus to play professional quidditch with his history as a Death Eater, regardless of circumstances, but it's not something he'd be confrontational about.

Bill has a few tattoos, so if he gets the itch for another, I'm sure he'll visit Stacey! Thank you for the welcome! :)
