Because I am awesome at making up shit on the spot and then realising it affects lots of other people (sorry)... Charlie's open thread for Pride mentions that he's got a Staff lanyard thing around his neck. Staff don't have a particular uniform but are expected to be presentable and advertising type shirts are banned, as is anything offensive. They also wear 'lanyards' when on duty.

And I was doing a terrible job of explaining this to Mercy, plus I couldn't find anything online that I liked so here's a quick drawing of what they look like.

The rectangle at the bottom is made of black leather (except for Charlie's which is dragonhide) and embossed in white with the Wingbeat logo and STAFF. It's held on a dark red ribbon/woven lanyard type thing and staff can either tie it around their necks or wrap it around one of their upper arms. The leather is soft enough it shouldn't irritate them (assuming average skin sensitivity). The lanyards have anti-theft charms on them and are warded to the individual staff members (Charlie has spares for losses, or indeed relief or temp staff which aren't warded).

I'll add this info to the Wingbeat notes in a sec. Here's the pic:
