Hello all! I'm Caitlin and I'm in search of a few good games to play in. I'll take any era, although I much prefer AU Marauder games. (In fact, I prefer AU in general.)
My main requirement: ACTIVITY. Most of the games I'm in are kind of down right now, probably because we're coming up on finals. I just want a game where more than one journal is getting posted every day, where people actually comment to other people's journals, and where open threads get responded to. Simple, right? I also prefer plot-centric games to social games. I will not play in arranged marriage games, nor will I pick up a character who's in an arranged marriage, sorry.
As for who I play - well, I'm willing to consider just about anyone if they come with plot, so if there's anyone you especially need, just ask! I'd give my right arm for Regulus Black, Sirius Black, or Narcissa Black, though I understand they're hard to find open. Oh, and if you've got a spot for Ali Bashir (Ravenclaw), that would be fantastic! Really, right now I'm looking for active games with an interesting plot/premise, so go ahead and pimp!

Hey. I'm Dee, and I play Abraxas Malfoy at ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/community.gif) hexenjagd, a next-generation AU game (not book7 compliant) where the growing problem isn't wizards, it's muggles.
I'm specifically here today to beg for a little sister for my boy. They're the children of Draco and Pansy, and Brax is in many ways not the traditional pureblood scion. Any sort of girl-Malfoy would be very welcome, having any sort of relationship with her older brother. Hey there! I'm from lifeinlondon, a post-warts game set in the year 2001. Almost everything has been restored to normalcy, but there are still those skeptics out there who are allowing the new changes within the wizarding world to affect their every day lives. We've only been open since March, but we're very proud of this game and it's always a lot of fun. We offer great plot devices and weekly updates to keep everyone on track with what's going on!
We've just recently expanded our character list. While it's still a limited list, there are many more opportunities with all sorts of new characters! Right now, we'd especially like to see some more alumni from the classes of 1999 and 1997, and definitely some Gryffindors, Hufflepuffs and Ravenclaws from Harry's year!
Check us out and put up a hold! Still going strong and hoping to stay that way for a long time!

I play Sirius Black at un_finished / unfinishedmods, a new AU game that's looking for some active, friendly players who are interested in a plot-driven game!
The plot's relatively simple, with Voldemort having completely disappeared in 1980. The Prophecy happened, but Voldemort never chose between Harry and Neville. Now, in 1998, the class of '98 is just graduating from Hogwarts, and unbeknownst to them, Voldemort's about to come back and wreak havoc on the Wizarding World once again. Not the sort of small-time kill a few Muggles and have the Order come after him plots - we're talking major plot that will affect and involve everyone in the game.
Mostly Sirius and I want to see the following characters:
- James Potter, Remus Lupin, Peter Pettigrew, and Lily Potter
- Frank, Alice, and Neville Longbottom
- Bellatrix, Rodolphus, and Rabastan Lestrange
- Lucius, Narcissa, and Draco Malfoy
- Andromeda and Ted Tonks
- And last (and definitely least in Sirius' eyes), Severus Snape!
Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley (along with other Weasleys) would be much-loved and appreciated by our Harry.
Lastly, Sirius could use a lady-type-more-than-friend who would be willing to put up with him and his antics. Not too many people are.

charing_cross is currently seeking:
Oliver WOOD, Percy WEASLEY, Bill & Fleur WEASLEY, Katie BELL, HUFFLEPUFFS, Draco MALFOY, Anthony GOLDSTEIN and others!
Charing Cross is a unique game where each month a new plot is presented for the characters. Much like real life the characters must react to current events as well as manage their personal relationships. Our hope is that through these small, short-lived plots players will take the opportunity to develop their characters and relationships with other players. We also encourage small group plots, such as book clubs, bowling leagues and writer's circles among many others.
Charing Cross has a small group of dedicated, talented creative writers who are hopeful for new friends. We're looking for equally dedicated writers who want to experience a slightly different RPG experience. The mods are friendly and easy-going and encourage player input. We're looking for players who bring something slightly different to the table as well, with fresh, exciting characters. There are plenty of interactive experiences just waiting to happen, so give us a chance and we think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Heya find_a_player! I've got a few homeless kids shuffling about in my brain right now and I'm hoping they've homes they don't actually know about yet. I would really like to find a game that has a high activity level with threads and logging as opposed to journal based, which isn't to say I don't like journaling, I only like to see lots of activity elsewhere, as well. I'm not adverse to social games, but I do prefer a plot or some kind of structure, especially in post-warts. I like best situations that challenge my characters, foster relationships, and allow for fun, gritty drama. I'm open to AU if it is well developed and makes sense, though I prefer canon.
My Tracey Davis is a sharp tongued but foolish little woman with an addiction to dramatics - her own and everyone else's.
Though I know they're usually snatched up, Narcissa Black Malfoy and Alice Longbottom are also rattling around. Narcissa is every bit a cold, going-through-the-motions sort of socialite on the outside, but her passions and her fears are in constant flux within. She depends heavily on various divining arts to guide her course, and can be quite fearsome when she loses control. Alice is bold and possessed of a sometimes frighteningly blind faith for the work she does and the cause she's devoted her adult life to, but she's also attention seeking, high energy, and quite easy to love.
If you're in need of a classic, secretly soft-hearted rebel with many causes and all of them selfish, Eddie Carmichael is your man. Especially if you've got nice legs.
As a player I am very friendly and pro-active, and love digging into a community. Thanks in advance for the recs!
