Hi there! I'm Kristy and I have James Potter and Cordelia Vaisey at a social next-gen game called The Landing. It's a fabulous game for character development and private storylines without an overbearing plot.
I am, however, still looking for a character for a storyline with Delia, who is my newest character. To briefly describe her, she's a 7th year and a Slytherin in almost every way. She's pureblooded, incredibly wealthy, and generally unpleasant. Even though she was raised, like most, to be the perfect trophy wife, she has a distinct loathing for the idea of marrying a pureblooded elitist and essentially taking on the role of 'servant'. So, to combat this fate, she alienates herself from the opposite sex and tries her hardest to turn them off with her harsh personality. (More on her here.)
I'm looking for someone outgoing and laid-back. I don't mind what house he's in or if he's a 6th year instead of a 7th. I'd actually prefer that he came from a non-pureblooded family and/or a poor one. Basically, she needs a 'tramp' to her 'lady'. She's searching for a way to prove to her father that she has no intentions of marrying someone who will keep her from doing what she wants to do, so going completely against his wishes will do just that. She needs someone who would persist in trying to loosen her up despite her harsh attitude. (The Available Character list is here and the Parent list is here for reference.)
As far as players go, I'd really love someone incredibly active, whether it be journal conversations or threads. I adore plot and backstory and would like someone with a lot of ideas to offer! I'm not looking to force novel-length responses, but nice, substantial ones are a must. Basically, someone who enjoys writing and can do so relatively well.
Also, The Landing is looking for 5th year students currently as well as others for specific storylines so give it a glance even if you don't think you can help me!

Hi! I play Nymphadora Black at a new Fifth Year game called ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/community.gif) crackitup via ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) crackaddict, which is clearly a fantastic game full of Harry Potter Crack. Umbridge is still running the school, and the D.A.'s going to form, but the Death Eaters are running the country, and everything's twisted. Muggleborns become Servants to the purebloods after their fifth year, and that deadline is fast approaching for Harry Potter's year. The game's set to start when there are ten to fifteen characters, which should be shortly, with any luck!
Anyhow, the game pretty much lets you do what you'd like with a character, as long as you at least keep some semblance of canon. For instance, Nymphadora is still Andromeda and Ted's daughter, but she was kidnapped when she was a toddler and was raised a Black. Other oddities include Sirius Black still being the Black Family Heir, Remus Lupin never being bitten, and Draco Malfoy being Sorted into Ravenclaw.
Right now we have so many amazing characters still open, including the Trio! I mean, really, have you ever wanted to play Harry Potter as a Slytherin, or crack up Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger? It'd be a blast! Ginny Weasley is also still open as well, for those who enjoy playing her!
We really need Death Eaters too, specifically Bellatrix Lestrange, Lucius Malfoy, Narcissa Malfoy, Fenrir Greyback, and...well, pretty much every Death Eater out there at this point. Or characters who are cracked out to be Death Eaters. Whichever!
Personally, for plot reasons, I would absolutely love to see Andromeda Tonks and Ted Tonks in game! Their daughter supposedly died when she was two, the year the Death Eaters took over, and they have no idea she's still alive and being raised by Andromeda's former family (unless someone snitched :D). I can promise lots of plot and lots of interaction there.
Anyhow, please please please check us out, even if your favorite character to play isn't listed here! It looks to be a fantastic, active game, with quality writers and a plot to follow, in addition to the crackiness.

About me and the character I play: Hello, I'm playing Lily Evans and Ernest MacMillan at the brand new marauder era rpg, imagine_if!
Character wanted to fill a SL & why:
While there are plenty of roles available, I'd adore a Frank Longbottom to act as my Ernest's good friend. They're in different houses, but Ernest is a really friendly sort and Head Boy so he knows quite a few people. We have an Alice cast as well as a James Potter and Remus Lupin excited to have Frank as a dorm-mate.
Even if Frank doesn't float your boat, check out our cast list. We have four talented players, seven great characters, and several pending applications and holds! The game's going to be a smaller one with a focus on quality over quantity so if you're interested in character development and letting stories develop over time, this is the place for you!

Hi! I'm Alicia. I'm a mature writer with about 10 years of RP experience under my belt. And I'm looking to fill a couple of storylines at one of my games!!
My LAVENDER BROWN-THOMAS (rosetinted) is looking for her husband DEAN THOMAS! Dean is a Chaser for the Kenmare Chasers. He and Lavender are recently married and she is currently the fashion editor for Witch Weekly. So far they're blissfully happy. And I can't change that unless we get a Dean!!!
And PORTIA VOLKOV-LYNCH (petite_belle) is a socialite. The little sister of a National Quidditch Team star and the wife of the Falcons' Seeker AIDAN LYNCH. She spends a good deal of her time running charities and the social events of the season, being mid-spotlight. And secretly (even from her husband) she's a party girl.
The Game is called Chariots of Firebolts (chariots/firebolt_mod)! It's a Quidditch league based community, focusing on the Players, their Wives, their Managers, their tabloids, and all the drama that surrounds them! We're super active and always looking for new players.
