I'd like a nice place to play my rendition of dearly demented Dexter Morgan from season 4. Don't usually look through adds but it appears I've been in the mood to really write recently. Figure I'll be RPing him with his constant hallucination Harry at his side.

If anyone has an in depth panfandom RP in mind that's challenging and isn't opposed to lots of writing, or might feel up to taking one on one depending, drop me a line. Preferably always towards a Brian Moser to play against or hell anything else challenging someone might be up for/have in mind.

Also since I'm posting, might as well put up would also love to RP the tenth Doctor from Doctor Who, Ianto Jones or Jack Harkness from Doctor Who/Torchwood. Well, again depending on the plot lines. Preferably really to play against Jack Harkness if the Doctor or Ianto, the Master if Jack or the Doctor, or against Jack or the Doctor (any gen) if... Ianto.

Odd combination of shows but you can always look up my work on the Island, the asylum this journal's a part of, if you're curious. Over all love a challenge, not opposed to any line of sexuality or friendship/bond as long as of course it's brought on strictly in character.

Thanks.

I'm considering bringing Chuck over to [info]islandkeepers, but would love a Sarah (or Hannah or both!) to go with...

What would you do to stay young and beautiful forever? Would you lie? Would you steal? Would you kill?

Sirens are brought up to do exactly that. A race of woman, capable of luring men with their magical songs, and shapeshifting into birds. Beautiful and enchanting, sirens are capable of unlocking immortality. But it comes at a price. Regularly afflicted with debilitating murderlusts, sirens have a choice. Give in, and kill, or lose their beauty, their youth, and their sanity. The more they kill, the longer they'll live.

For centuries, siren women have made their choice. Some try to kill only when necessarily, while some embrace what they are. Whether they found what they were to be a burden or a gift, it was theirs to bear in secrecy.

Until the Light of May.

On May 1st, 2009, the supernatural world revealed itself to society. And the siren race was listed as one of the top threats to humanity. Sirens have been driven into hiding. Some try to pass as werebirds, some choose a life on the run. No one knows what happens to a siren if caught, but there are rumors of scientific experiments to 'cure' them.

Whatever you decide, one thing is certain. Don't get caught.

So I don't usually do this, but I thought I'd try asking around anyway.

Anyone out there interested in playing a gay Asian man for me? He's got a very intriguing and angsty relationship with his partner (John Barrowman-shaped, if you're curious), as well as a Rain-shaped adopted kid. His face will be Hiroyuki Sanada, and ~vader has told me he'll make icons (which is excellent, because ~vader makes gorgeous icons! see ~starforge for proof). Due to game set-up, he'd be probably somewhere between 50 and 60 — exact age is up to you, but should fall well within this range. In personality, he's kind of stern and formal, and his name will be Kenji Nakamura.

Now about that intriguing/angsty relationship (aka WHY WE NEED HIM)... Kenji and his boyfriend have been together for like 30-odd years in a sci-fi/faux-futuristic sort of setting. They pretty much think they're survivors of a nuclear holocaust, along with everyone else that lives with them, but they're really experiments. (They also adopted a week-old baby at one point, who grew up into a twenty-something kid, and they're very proud of him.) Kenji's boyfriend had a few specific abilities (lie detection and enhanced intuition, I think, we're still working on that particularly) before he suffered an accident that resulted in brain-damage. At that point, the scientists swooped in with, "If you sign these consent forms, we can fix him!", which was actually code for "if you sign that, we'll fix his brain and experiment on him". So he signs the forms and his boyfriend gets fixed, but when he finishes recovering entirely, the experimentation has pretty much turned the boyfriend into a completely different person. Thus, the angst.

This line will be headed for a plot-heavy-game, and I know this is probably a long-shot. However, I'd be ETERNALLY grateful to anyone who could do this for me. Further details are available to anyone who's interested, and there's lots we can be flexible with. To contact me, you can either PM me here at ~moonwaltz or reply to this post. :)
