Labor strikes have paralyzed the British economy and the recently fought wars are fresh on muggles' minds. The disappearance of certain files from their government doesn't help to ease tensions. Wizards, meanwhile, have some idea of what those files contain - information about the wizarding world - and are on edge believing that any day their presence will be revealed to muggles. This leads many wizards to look to the most unlikely people as a sign of hope in uncertain times: Death Eaters.
MOST NEEDED. Very few Order members left: Fabian Prewett, Gideon Prewett, Frank Longbottom, Emmeline Vance, Alastor Moody, Severus Snape, Mundungus Fletcher, Elphias Doge, Dedalus Diggle, and Aberforth Dumbledore. Many major Death Eaters and Ministry officials are still open and muggles are very much needed!

O T H E R S . They walk among us, OBSERVING.
In the beginning, there were only the humans, and, amongst them, a cursed woman. She was a good woman, pure and kind, but wherever she went, misfortune followed her. Whenever she lit a candle, it went out. If she petted a puppy, it died. If she fed a bird from her hand, the bird would fall from it, dead. Children died in the houses she visited, and the power of her curse opened a Vortext of Damnation around her. With it came the first forces of Darkness. Warriors of the Light rose up to fight the darkness, and thus began the battle between the Light and the Dark.
All because one human cursed another.The battle raged on for centuries, neither side every truly winning. The two sides came to a standstill, and ended up forging a truce. Thus was the Great Treaty formed, and the Inquisition to uphold it. The Light formed the Night Watch to watch over the Dark, and the Dark formed the Day Watch to watch over the Light.
Thus has it been, and thus shall it always be.

It has been nine years since the Brotherhood of Mutants tried to kill a good portion of the world's leaders in 2000. Since that event, the world has changed. Commissioned by the United States government, the X-Men fulfill a function that many consider a paramilitary position. When a threat too big for the U.S. military rises up, the X-Men are called in to take care of the problem. The school itself went public as a mutant school in 2004. The X-Men haven't been the only ones evolving and changing as the need for them becomes more prominent. Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., has started to gather a group of superpowered beings to form a government sponsored team, one that will hopefully replace the X-Men so the government will not have to rely on them any longer. There are many people out there that don't want peace between humans and everyone else. While the Brotherhood has disbanded, other terrorist groups like the Morlocks, the Marauders, and the Mutant Liberation Front have risen up to take their place.
