By the pricking of my thumbs...

The Black Forest is home to the fairy tales creatures we know and love...and the ones that haunt our dreams at night. In the heart of these woods, hidden away from view, is the Durmstrang Institute. But Durmstang has always been safe from outside threats, whether they be Muggle or magical. Nothing has ever managed to get inside the school and threaten students' lives. Until now.

Something's coming. Hunting, stalking, seeking, and it won't stop until it finds what it's looking for. Or until it's dead. How many people will die before this new menace is caught and stopped? What is it that's coming? Better question: will you survive?

Rules - Available Characters - Application - Played By's

Tired of those games that are purely meant for shipping purposes and barely focus on the events of the first war? We are, and that is exactly why we have created Waddiwasi.

Tidbits of information is all we have been given, tiny nuances to sustain us, but what about the fine details? What really happened during the First War when You-Know-Who was at his peak and the Wizarding World was barely staying above water? The individual stories of those during that time and the conflicts they had were never written, but they certainly existed. Students just out of Hogwarts viewed the world with endless possibilities; some acquired jobs, found a place to live, settled down and had a family, while others made their parents proud, took the Dark Mark, and joined an organisation which promised to restore the wizarding world to its former glory.

So join us and let's write their history, a complete history, of the events that happened that affected the fate of the wizarding world forever.

Wanted: Remus Lupin, Gideon Prewett, Marlene McKinnon, Lucius Malfoy, Rabastan Lestrange, Alice Longbottom, Mary MacDonald, Rita Skeeter, Hestia Jones, Amelia Bones, Barty Crouch Sr., Molly Weasley, Arthur Weasley, and more! If they were alive during the 70's, we would love to have them! Original characters are considered.

Magic School: A CrossOver Game [15 May 2009|06:39pm]
Now accepting applications! Game starts when we reach 15 characters.
WELCOME TO
MAGIC SCHOOL
magic_school magic_mods magic_ooc
Magic School is a Charmed/Harry Potter CrossOver game set in 2025.
What if the Salem's Academy mentioned in Harry Potter happens to be the very same Magic School that has a door directly into the Halliwell Manor? Perhaps centuries ago the Ministry of Magic orchestrated a separation of Church and State that excluded the Elders and WhiteLighters from interfering with European witchcraft. But their reach did not extend to the American colonies where true magic was stifled and only brought into the light in recent generations thanks to the tireless work of WhiteLighters. Now, in 2025, after two great battles have been won against Voldemort and the Ultimate Power, things have changed. Both Hogwarts and Salem's Academy are open again. But when the peace of both sides is threatened again, Potters and Halliwells will have to unite wizards and witches everywhere under a common cause.

For years upon years they have lived among us, but have you even bothered to notice? You may have cast off their little oddities as just that - oddities, but what if it had been something more? What if it was because of something that had happened in one of their past lives? And what if it had happened to you?

The Premise

Torchwood: outside the government, beyond the police. Tracking down alien life on Earth, arming the human race against the future. The twenty-first century is when everything changes, and Torchwood is ready.

Or are they? The twenty-first century is when everything changes, but not in the way Captain Jack Harkness thinks.

The Cardiff rift: a fissure in space and time that allows all manner of extraterrestrial and extratemporal artifacts and lifeforms to find their way to Earth. Unpredictable and elusive, it’s a gateway for alien creatures, alien weapons, all manner of alien technology and time anomalies to enter this world, bringing the flotsam and jetsam of the universe to Cardiff since the dawn of time.

The rift, the centre of Torchwood Three, has become more active than ever, far more active than anyone is prepared for. People are appearing every day. Out of their time and out of the reality. People from the past and future? Torchwood’s dealt with that before. But people from other dimensions? Other realities? Worlds where magic is real (and we’re not talking about Carrionites), and vampires and demons are as common as aliens are in this one? Worlds where human beings are capable of extraordinary things, beyond what we can imagine? That’s something different entirely.

And nobody knows how to put them back. The best they can do is help the new arrivals settle into this world. Some will choose to work with Torchwood. Others will try to rebuild their lives as best as possible. No matter what they choose, Torchwood is keeping an eye on them. They've even created an interconnected message board to keep tabs on the arrivals. Because along with the people, bits and pieces of their worlds have come through as well. The walls of universes are bleeding together, and Torchwood is most certainly not ready.
