A loud bang was heard in the ministry of magic, the sound piercing through many of the corridors, but it was loudest in the Atrium. There was not only the craking in this hallway, but also a piercing light and a great wind that seemed to originate from the very middle of the corridor. The gust of wind was strong enough to knock anyone in the hall off of their feet and back towards the walls. Thus, when the gust, and light, and crack had disappeared, a lone figure was kneeling against the polished dark wood floor. Long dark hair fell, concealing the face of the woman who knelt there, a slender arm outreached, hand pressed against the floor ahead of her. The gown she wore was unusual, in more than the mere fact she wore a gown.
The fabric and style were much more reminicent of a time long gone than any current fashion would suggest. Before any others could regain their foot, the woman lifted her head, eyes searching the room around her. And then, gracefully, she rose to a full standing position, a smile coming to her lips. She ignored the confused gazes and in the silence that had fallen, spoke. Her voice was clear, and the smile remained. "Morning to you all. Tell me, what year is this?"
The year is 2009. The wizarding world has been at peace for nearly eleven years, since the fall of the terrible Lord Voldemort. The infamous trio have all gotten married, had children, and moved on with their lives. That was, until the appearance of the mysterious Morgana le Fay.
No one is sure of Morgana's intentions, nor the how or why that brought her to the future. The history books all say that she was Merlin's greatest enemy, but she's saying otherwise. Is she really there to help, or does she have something more sinister in mind?
But Morgana isn't the only problem. All over the globe, strange things are happening. People who were thought to be dead are popping up in the places that they died. C reatures, both magical and non, that were thought to be extinct are starting to show up all over the place.
Shards of Time is a present day, post-war Harry Potter RPG, seeking dedicated and talented writers to fill important roles for both living characters, and those returning from beyond the grave.

An AU social Future Era Harry Potter game
It is the year 2023. It has been 25 years since the fall of Voldemort on that fateful June night at Hogwarts, and although it took awhile to rebuild the Wizarding world to what it once was, the world has been stronger than ever. With the help of so many people that now were on the side of good, the Ministry was able to get up and working once again, under the watchful eye of their wonderful new Minister of Magic, Kingsley Shacklebolt.
And the little Wizarding school was able to go back to what it was put there for; teaching young Wizards and Witches how to be just that. They took in students from far and wide, different and alike, from Wizarding blood or Muggle blood. And the school grew and rebuilt itself to be the greatest school in History.
The Landing is a spot on the grounds of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and spot built in the safe woods just on the edge of the Black Lake, far from Hagrid's Hut and the Black woods of the Forbidden Forrest, hidden from the sight of the feared Caretaker and the Headmaster and his Professors. It was built by mischief makers that had attended the school after the War, put there for the sole purpose of being a secret meeting spot for friends, groups, or couples, for any use from parties to plotting to just enjoying the evening sky. It hasn't been discovered yet, but the students are still careful. The only way to get to it is Invisibility cloak--which is rare--or the hidden passageway on the fourth floor back corridor, behind the statue of a dancing House Elf.
There is a crazy House Elf that likes to cause problems, and there are some new and exciting things to come!

 its a wild, wild world out there The year is 2027, and all is well...mostly. The children after the war have mostly grown up and are slowly starting their own lives. Slowly. They have time, which is not something the generations of the past have felt. There is no war, no crumbling society to rebuild. There's time to waste, there's fun to be had.It's time for the Next Generation to start the fearful process of growing up, getting jobs, settling down. Though first loves are never last loves and debauchery is alive and well in today's youth.
Though... there are whispers of an old Purist, a former Death Eater, whispers that he's forcing a "Bill of Magical Marriage" on the Wizengamot. There's a bit of fear that he'll have his way by February, fear that his argument is becoming too convincing. If the Wizengamot votes in his favour, not even Kingsley Shacklebolt will be able to stop it from coming to fruition.
What's odd enough, people still support this bill. These antiquated ideas of "Magical Lineage" and "Inferior Muggle Blood" are still instilled in some of the children of the new generation. The Bill of Magical Marriage goes up in front of the Wizengamot on April 1st, 2027. Will you be protesting it or protecting it?
But even if it's rejected by the Wizengamot, the plans won't just stop there...

Everyone has heard of the enigmatic date of December 21, 2012. Some model their lives around the cataclysmic change that is said to occur on that date. Events that were put into motion the moment Dean traded his life for Sam's are leading up to this event.
