Who: Buffy and Angel Where: His majesty's office. When: Wednesday, 1-20, 11:00am What: Talking about the Lindsey mission. Status: Incomplete Rating: PG-13
The past day had been quite the fiasco. Buffy was feeling pretty drained. She had bags under her eyes, a coffee in her hand. This was not one of her finest moments. She had been watching Lindsey with a sharp eye and spending time downstairs in the medward keeping Eliot company, entertaining him to help him stay strong through his transformation. She was wondering of Angel had heard about it and quite frankly if he hadn't he was going to hear it in a few minutes.
Buffy stepped up to Angel's office door and did not knock. She just simply let herself in. It was probably a bad move, but at the moment she was really too tired to care and just wanted to get the conversation overwith. He had stormed out, all ticked off. She felt kind of guilty, but at the same time she felt like she needed to explain the connections she felt with Eliot and Lindsey. Maybe it would help him understand or just tick him off even more. Either way she didn't care.
"We need to talk."
She sat down on the chair in his office. Too tired, she event to stand up. Not to mention she had gotten a panicked call from Dawnie on her cell phone. The earthquake had apparently hit everywhere and things were out of wack. She was flying in today and Buffy wanted to make sure she had this load off of her shoulders. She had a few other things she wanted to talk to Angel about other than just stuff he didn't want to hear.
Actually, he probably didn't want to hear any of it.
She was thinking Lindsey and Eliot needed someone to watch them, or at least Lindsey anyways. She knew that Lindsey had been evil at one point or another and who could better keep an eye on them than the one person they're connected with? Maybe it was another stupid idea, like going after Lindsey. Angel was probably going to loathe Buffy for a few days after this conversation.
"But first, have you heard anything on the pending apocalypse? Or are we still standing in the land of the unknowingly unknown?"
