Who: Ronnie and Ginny What: Someone's finally back Where: The Potters' Flat When: Wednesday afternoon
Ronnie adjusted the strap of her bag on her shoulder as she walked down Diagon Alley. Her eyes flew everywhere, taking it all in. A casual observer might think that it was excitement after being gone for three and a half weeks. Much as Ronnie would like to think that, she knew she was keeping her eyes peeled for a particular someone. She had thought she would just hold off on coming back until she could handle it, but as the weeks went by and she slowly made her way to New York, she didn't think she would get there anytime soon. Ronnie had to force herself to come back, and her heart kept pounding until she reached Ginny's door.
She was both dreading and excited to run into Jewllian. She hated it.
She let out a sigh and knocked on her best friend's door. A small smile pulled at her lips as she rummaged around in her bag to pull out the Pablo Neruda book she had picked up for Ginny. She had genuinely missed her friends, Ginny especially. The other redhead had always been there for her, and much as she didn't want to talk about it, she didn't like purposefully keeping something from Ginny. Hopefully, when she explained, Ginny would understand why she had done it.
When the door opened, she grinned and held out the book, "I come bearings gifts. I figure you and Harry can read them to each other and be even more disgustingly in love."
