Ronnie let out a chuckle. "Yeah, that totally sounds like Potter," she replied, taking another bite of the cake. "Anyway, if you figure out how to get that chain off, I'd like your help. Plus, I've seen Daphne's flat, and I have a few ideas to make it more...me. Could definitely use another hand, and I don't mind rescuing you from your boredom."
She nodded in response to Ginny's question, biting her bottom lip gently. "Yeah. She said I'm the closest thing to family that she has now." Which put her and Ronnie in the same boat, which she found just a little depressing. Not that she cared about her family, but that her friend was disowned as well was upsetting. Not that she would ever show it.
Ronnie rolled her eyes at the face Ginny made, and took a sip of whiskey to keep from laughing. "I know you won't. But I'm going to tell him the same thing, so I figured it would only be fair. Plus, I didn't want you to be all shocked when I showed up with him." She tucked from hair behind her ear, her head tilting slightly as a thought occurred to her. "I'm going to have to go shopping," she groaned, her head drooping.
