So. Since this is the first one, I'll give a brief description of how this will go, just so everyone's got a head's up. I'm going to post the competition, and everyone can reply with how their character did (wonderfully, completely ruined, average result, etc). Then, the guest judge (who's player can email me with the decision) will choose the winner. Feiyi will announce the winner and whatever prize I manage to come up with. We'll give a couple days grace period, to ensure that all people who want to reply to the cooking log can get to it. Your descriptions can be as in depth or as brief as you like. As an FYI for future reference, Cooking Club meets Wednesday evenings, during dinner. Snacks are provided, in addition to the challenge food that everyone makes and then shares afterwards.

This week's competition is Borsch and the judge is Vasili. He gave a brief description of what it is, how to make it, and then everyone had the opportunity to use the recipe provided or use their own (either a personal recipe or one they looked up before hand). All challenges (minus Riley's surprise one next week) are announced in advance, so your character has time to do their research if they want.
