 C R E S T W O O D an original mutant rpg A refuge for mutants: whether they escaped government capture, have lived with their mutation as a secret, or have been seeking others like them, Crestwood offers the safety and seclusion that nowhere else has. With the government making its move on mutants, trying to capture and cover up their existence, this is the time that all mutants, no matter their origin, come together. Within the seclusion of the Elk Mountains, a group of mutants have come together to hide in plain sight. They are seeking out those like them, while extending an offer of protection and purpose. Using a word-of-mouth network, the rumor is out there that if you are a mutant, you belong here. Capitol  Washington, D.C. is a center of power and intrigue, and is known throughout the world. Due to its existence as the nation's capital, it has long been one of the foremost hosts of historical events and movements which have shaped the United States. People have always been interested in the happenings of and around the area; those who exist on other planes are no different in this attraction. For as long as D.C. has stood, it has been a bastion and haven for the supernatural. They too have an interest in shaping the nation. While they typically blend in with the crowds, demons and angels both have given their hands to the political flow of the United States. The war for souls has long since exited the forum of spirituality; indeed, that never really was the only platform for battle. Aside from these two factions, other species have been roaming the capital for years as well - some as mere citizens, others with more interest in the ebb and flow of power to be found within the area. In these modern times, there seems to be much at stake for those with an interest in the country's fate. After all, who knows what the future will bring? Where will your character stand in the coming days? Capitol is a supernatural, city-based game open to original characters, canon historical figures and canon demons/angels. We are centered around the political schemes and every day lives of those living within Washington D.C. and the surrounding areas. Our group is banter friendly, scene-heavy and hoping to create a vibrant world for our fellow writers to create stories within. This community is open to those who are 18+ only, due to the mature nature of the storylines which will be featured here at Capitol.
