The essence of our stories has always existed. In the world nearest to ours, there is a population of people, growing yet eternal and immortal, who spring from us - from our imaginations, from the seed of creativity that is the new existence of a definitive fictional character. You won't find replicas there, for the movement between planes is a changing thing, and you'll need to delve deep for the essence of our originals in Musings. In Seattle, a one-way portal between planes has allowed these beings to filter into societies all over earth, where they live mortal lives and find fulfillment in the power this world offers - however short the time to enjoy it. Rumors in Musings abound, telling of generations making lives here... and the exodus has begun. Equipped with supernatural abilities that do not exist in our world, the Creations (as they call themselves) find new challenges here. Among the immigrants there are those who wish to use their abilities for power and control of others; those who wish to defend the race they have joined, powerless though humans are; and those who would prefer to live their own lives in this new promised land. |

The students of Salem Academy have had a rough year. Gossip, rumors, dances, hook-ups and break-ups: those are all expected during high school. But at a school for witches and wizards, in one of the most historically magical towns in America, life is even more difficult. Especially now that the existence of magic has been revealed to Muggles by renegades. Graduation has come and gone, but the seniors aren't going anywhere. The Bureau of Magic needs them to protect the school from outside forces. Muggles are pointing fingers everywhere, and one school has already suffered a vicious attack. It won't be long until someone starts pointing fingers right at Salem. |

Science and technology continue to advance with each passing day and after 37 years of peace, the future remains bright for mankind. Or so it would seem... An entire century has passed since the Disaster of 2012 took place and while most have nearly forgotten about the mysterious event, a commotion is beginning to brew amongst the general populace... A mass amount of people claiming to have disappeared during the Disaster of 2012, have recently surfaced, reappearing out of nowhere aboard the American’s floating city, Serenus. Historical records prove their claims to be true, but despite a total of 100 years having passed, none from the group have aged a day. The citizens of Serenus are confused, some even fearful of the Specialis Gens as they have been labeled by the government. Questions are being asked, curiosities are peaked, but those in power continue to deny having any knowledge of the strange occurrence. They came at night, men and women in white coats with needles and drugs, chloroform and ether, invading the sanctity of homes. They stepped through portals and no wards or locks could stop them. They kidnapped individuals and took them to an artificial island for the purpose of observing them. The Heads put their new subjects in rooms in a hotel, turned on their cameras, and settled down to wait. They were engaged in a social experiment, peppering their artificial island with rumors of a way back home, if only people could learn to work together. But the people weren't simply left to their own devices. The Heads create hazards on a weekly basis to keep the population on their toes and to observe the effects of various changes to the environment. They want to see the formation of bonds of friendship and love, of animosity and hatred, and then test those bonds. Is there an escape? Will it be found before it's too late?
