By secret order of the crown, 1891 sees the activation of a covert organisation accountable only to the monarch. Formed in response to occult aspects of the Whitechapel murders, these 'Royal Inquisitors' are tasked with the containment or elimination of supernatural threats to the interests of the British Empire. These crusading guardians are invested with the authority to root out occult elements that could corrupt society. Regarded with respect and fear by the few who know of them, the Royal Inquisition is a highly secretive order, dedicated to upholding civilisation against dark, primordial forces, by any means necessary. Unlike knights of old, they have access to the most radical technological advances of the era: In an age of exploring the unknown, with revolutionary science clashing against religion, Royal Inquisitors not only hold the front line against supernatural dangers, but see themselves as agents of purification, bringing light to shadow and eliminating the preternatural.

In this quest, concessions must be made. The Royal Inquisitors make deals with those touched by the otherworldly... People with such abilities as speaking with the dead. The Spiritualist movement is taking hold in society and, to the Royal Inquisitors, these men and women are useful tools in their battle against the darkness and are paid for their advising services. One must have bloodhounds when on a hunt.

Down the centuries, champions of light and dark have always waged war. These diverse groups might find themselves working together to avoid the Royal Inquisition's wrath. Dhampirs, demons, vampires, black witches and white, lycanthropes, practitioners of infernal magic, ghosts of the damned and far more... All might find themselves on the same side before long, drawn together against an enemy using steam, iron and electricity.

Infernalism is a multi-fandom RP, and while it has a rather Christian premise, is NOT a religious game.

Sic Infit explores the possibilities of what could have happened had James and Lily Potter stuck with Sirius as their Secret Keeper. What could have happened if Harry had never become The Boy Who Lived? What if Lord Voldemort had actually won?

To celebrate such a momentous occasion, local businesses of Diagon Alley have chosen to sponsor an intramural Quidditch League. Contact the Ministry of Magic, Department of Games and Sports with any questions! League games to start June 15th and run right through until game day, August 26th. (The Quidditch World Cup Championships will be held in Wales.) Charing Cross has a small group of dedicated, talented creative writers who always excited for new friends. We're looking for equally dedicated writers who want to experience a slightly different RPG experience. The mods are friendly and easy-going and encourage player input. We're looking for players who bring something slightly different to the table as well, with fresh, exciting characters. There are plenty of interactive experiences just waiting to happen, so give us a chance and we think you'll be pleasantly surprised. Terror everywhere … panic … confusion …" Across Europe the Wizarding Community lies in fear. Voldemort and his followers are on the rise, leaving behind a reign of terror in their wake. As his numbers increase, Wizards begins to grow more uneasy, increasingly choosing to fall prey to his Empire, out of fear, unwilling to stand up and fight. In spite of the increasing danger, a small group of vigilante Wizards have begun a rebellion, daring to do what the Ministry fears to do; fight. The Order of the Phoenix is slowly growing into a force to be reckoned with, threatening not only Voldemort, but the Ministry itself. Change is on the brink for the students of Hogwarts. No longer will they be safe behind the confines of the castle, unaware to the real dangers of the world. They will soon be forced to make their own loyalties known; a decision that will affect not only the rest of their lives, but the entire Wizarding World. Amongst the darkness, these students are potentially the light needed to give the Order the man power to take on Voldemort’s forces. As both sides fight to gain support, one question lies: which side do you choose?

hat if Salem Witches' Institute is the very same Magic School the Halliwells protect? Perhaps centuries ago the Ministry of Magic orchestrated a separation of Church and State that excluded the Elders and WhiteLighters from interfering with European witchcraft. But their reach didn't extend to the American colonies where magic was stifled and only encouraged by WhiteLighters. Now it's nearly 25 years after the battles against Voldemort and the Ultimate Power. Both Hogwarts and Salem Institute are open again. But when the peace of both sides is threatened, Potters and Halliwells will have to unite wizards and witches everywhere under a common cause.
