Sybil Trelawney makes her third prophecy, predicting the return of one the Ministry can only assume is Voldemort, claiming he shall rise again, to seek immortality from the legendary Golden Apples of mythology. What lengths will the Ministry go to to prevent him from finding the apples? And how will the populace respond to the prospect of another war, and more secrets being kept from them in the Ministry?

"….Voldemort's powerful now. You don't know who his supporters are, you don't know who's working for him and who isn't; you know he can control people so that they do terrible things without being able stop themselves. You're scared for yourself, and your family, and your friends. Every week, news comes of more deaths, more disappearances, more torturing … The Ministry of Magic's in disarray, they don't know what to do, they're trying to keep everything hidden from the Muggles, but meanwhile, Muggles are dying too. Terror everywhere … panic … confusion …"

Across Europe the Wizarding Community lies in fear. Voldemort and his followers are on the rise, leaving behind a reign of terror in their wake. As his numbers increase, Wizards begins to grow more uneasy, increasingly choosing to fall prey to his Empire, out of fear, unwilling to stand up and fight.

In spite of the increasing danger, a small group of vigilante Wizards have begun a rebellion, daring to do what the Ministry fears to do; fight. The Order of the Phoenix is slowly growing into a force to be reckoned with, threatening not only Voldemort, but the Ministry itself.

Change is on the brink for the students of Hogwarts. No longer will they be safe behind the confines of the castle, unaware to the real dangers of the world. They will soon be forced to make their own loyalties known; a decision that will affect not only the rest of their lives, but the entire Wizarding World.

Amongst the darkness, these students are potentially the light needed to give the Order the man power to take on Voldemort’s forces. As both sides fight to gain support, one question lies: which side do you choose?


Darkness Rising is a canon compliant Marauders Era RPG taking place in 1978. Game opened February 1, 2009.

Don’t go to sleep. Don’t close your eyes. Keep them open. Open them as wide as you possibly can. Look around you. Take in your surroundings. What is this place?

You may ask: Where have the trains and the skyscrapers gone?

Or you may ask: Where is Cair Paravel? Where are the Lone Islands?

What you will soon come to learn is that you have entered into Aslan’s Land. This is not Narnia at all, but a place resembling Narnia in every aspect. Every tiny detail, right down to the last grain of sand. But how can it not be Narnia? You see, whatever place you may have dreamed of is here. The land, the cities, the towns, the people. They are all Narnian, even if this place is not Narnia itself. In such a place, even skyscrapers may be brought back. You simply have to know where to look.

But even in such a beautiful and peaceful place dangers and evils await. This land, Aslan’s Land, was meant for the good. It was meant for the peaceable. It was not meant for the evil or dangerous. It was not meant for those who seek corruption and vanity. But they still found their ways here. To remove them, to make them leave would be a difficult task. For even the most evil of persons may very well have been the person closest to you. Would you allow them to stay? Or would you help to rid the land of them? To return them to the place they truly belonged. Each is given his or her own choice. Choose it well. For that decision may very well decide your destiny. That decision may mean leaving this land.

What happens to one after entering Aslan’s Land? How far must they go before finding their destiny? Or does destiny even exist in such a place? Do all who come there truly belong? Or have some found the backdoor into this wondrous land? What wonders, adventures, spectacles could possibly be waiting beyond that shore? Only those who have found their way truly know. These are the stories of such creatures. Of a place called Aslan’s Land.

Many years ago, when people still believed in myths and legends, it was told that the gods created immortal beings, much like themselves. They shaped them into beautiful and powerful beings with many talents who would go on to lead mankind on the right course. The gods would remain in the heavens where they were supposed to be, and the immortals would be earthbound. They were created from the same mold, split into two by mighty thunderbolts. No one suspected the effect it would have on the immortal beings. The separation left both of them with a desperate yearning to be reunited because they shared the same soul. They would spend the rest of their lives searching for the other half of their soul, no matter the time or the distance.

Whenever a pair of immortals got close to each other physically, their powers would cease to exist and they would become mortal. It was a loophole in their divine fate as leaders of humanity. This was their chance to settle down and live out their lives as normal human beings and some took the chance they had been blessed with. Yet there were those who had no desire to find their missing half, and were ruled by greed and power instead of this longing for love. Many became warlords, thirsty for money and gold. Much blood was shed during these times and the gods finally stepped in to stop what they had created. Soon after, the gods and angels of old disappeared. Mankind continued to wage war upon one another in their searching for domination, just as their former immortal leaders had done.

Hundreds of years have passed, and now some of the immortals are beginning to reemerge. Many have traveled the world in search of their other half, and some are still looking to gain the promise and worship they've always thought they deserved. A rogue group, in escalating numbers, led by the oldest of the immortals, is looking to declare war upon humanity. There are no more gods to rope them in and keep them in check, so some of the remaining immortals have picked up arms to fight against them. There are those that believe that humanity is supposed to learn for themselves, live out their lives without ancient beings dictating them.

Welcome to Idris Academy, a school for magical folk located in the isolated reaches of Greenland. Here, those with magical abilities or superhuman attributes - the Faie, Therians, mages, witches, and warlocks - come to learn. These are students who can hurl fireballs, transform into various animals, teleport from place to place, or live for centuries on end. There are your normal, human high school classes, and then there are the electives designed for each specific magical group. The goal of this school: assimilate these magical children into the human world and teach them how to control and utilize their special abilities.

But there's a problem... normal human beings can often be cruel and condescending. Some of the school's students do not actually want to assimilate. They would rather build their own, magical cities - sometimes empires - and live without having to regulate their special abilities.

This difference in opinion has caused a slight rift in the school...

NO SUCH PLACE: An Original Fantasy/Supernatural RPG


“ . . . All that was left in Pandora’s box was hope.”

During the 21st century, a global pandemic swept over the world. They dubbed it the “Pandora virus,” or PV for short, because of its devastating nature. The virus tore through the world’s population. It killed almost one-third of humanity in its first month alone. Countries everywhere grew panicked, believing it to be a work of biological terrorism. Nation stood against nation, and a worldwide war began. Much of earth was laid to waste within just a handful of months by the combined effects of nuclear war and the Pandora virus. Survivors immune to the virus found the world uninhabitable, and many of them perished due to radiation poisoning or famine.

There were other creatures who inhabited this planet along with human beings, though. They had just been in hiding for many centuries. Praeternaturals, they were called. Legendary beings and creatures believed to be nothing more than myth. They were also biologically immune to the Pandora virus. With the foresight of the oracle Euryale, groups of praeternaturals learned of what was to come and prepared for the preordained onslaught. They had built safe havens protected by magic in hidden areas across the world. Taking in as many humans and praeternaturals alike as they could before the war, these communities provided a stable living environment for the survival of all species.

One such safe haven is an ancient land once inhabited by elves, abandoned by them long ago, and renovated into a sanctuary. They call it Elysium. Located in the modern-day Republic of Macedonia near Lake Ohrid, it was once a part of Greece. Now, it is a part of the process to one day rebuild the world.


Game Objective.
No Such Place is an original fantasy role-playing game established in December 2007. We actively incorporate game-wide plots that affect all players, but we strongly encourage individual plots among players as well. The world itself is completely interactive and reactive. Whether you prefer action, drama, romance, or horror — this game allows you to play all and pick your favorite to explore. Your objective is to create your own story. However, beware the setting. Everything affects everything, and like a domino effect, No Such Place will affect every character and player with things beyond their control.

Go ahead, take refuge in the land of Elysium. We promise you'll be safe.

An Original Persona RPG

After witnessing a death at their school where a missing pupil was found at his desk, characters begin investigating these rumours. They later realize that they can walk through doorways as a gateway to enter a seemingly utopian world infested with Shadows. Thus begins an adventure to discover the connection between the vanishings and deaths around town.

There are three kinds of beings in Seattle.
VAMPIRES: either the psychic or the traditional. The physics suck out your energy and the traditional vampires suck out your blood. They don’t live together in covens, they don’t sparkle but they’re just as deadly as any other vampire you’ve heard of.

SHAPESHIFTERS: Or more commonly referred to as werewolves. They can morph into wolves at their own will when the time comes, and are often intermarried to preserve the race. When there are only children, generally they are arranged to marry others.

HUMANS: They’re the onlookers, they’re just waiting for something to happen. They’re waiting to be turned into vampires or ready to help the werewolves control the vampires, or maybe they’re just trying to live their lives and these stupid creatures keep getting in their way.
