Danielle: Definitely we should thread Arion taking James home :D Ari's turning 18 Monday, so I think his family would cook some really awesome dinner and be all family-like. So we should thread their Saturday dinner or something. And Arion enlisting James to help them prepare dinner. Or something. IDK. I will email you about that later in the week if I remember to. Because email is cool like that.
Reno: Definitely put up the Gabe/Vik thread sometime. I'm excited.

Hello thar! Yes yes yes, I'm back, for realz this time. I just wanted to say HI to all the new people! Um, because I would almost certainly miss the intro posts if I tried to back track (it's happened before :\ ) I shall just put my bio bit here: I play Kaevan and Free, and am always up for plot! And will hopefully be much more active now...

Hey guys. It's Reno. And first of all, let me apologize for failing at life.

Um. ANYWAY.

A NEW CHARACTER. Don't worry/sorry to disappoint, he's quite the opposite of Leon in pretty much every way.

Meet Gabriel Keeley. Gabe for short. He's a 6th year Warlock in Araboth. And I suck at making these summaries, but let's try:

- He's very outgoing and friendly for a Warlock, though he might come off as a bit superficial and detached because he doesn't really care about other people. He just want to be one of the popular kids
- He's gay and proud of it
- He's a hopeless romantic and convinced he's going to find his soulmate in Idris. And when he falls for someone he can be a bit obsessive, and there's nothing he wouldn't do for whoever he thinks is the love of his life
- He lives in his own little world and firmly believes in the supernatural, eg. ghosts/vampires/demons/etc. And past lives. And soulmates. All that good stuff. 'cause if magic is real, all the rest has to be too, right?
- He likes to know the future and so he likes people who can see the future. He's fascinated by faie because they live so long. Therians he's a little wary of because they're so unpredictable. He thinks witches and mages aren't as awesome as warlocks because their gifts are so specialized. And he doesn't like mundies and never wants to live a normal mundie life
- He doesn't really have a temper, he has better things to do than worry about who's hurt his feelings
- Oh, and he secretly wants to be the greatest warlock there ever was and doesn't care who gets hurt in the process (except he'd never hurt his soulmate, obviously). Similarly, he would also do anything to become immortal. But no one's supposed to know these things.

I'm probably forgetting something important. So. For more information/details, feel free to check out his profile. (I'll make it and his journal prettier when I stop being lazy.)


Honestly, I have no idea what I want for him. Except Viktor. But plots are LOVE and what I live for. SO. Tell me what your characters think/feel about him, and if you have any ideas for storylines/possible plots I can't wait to hear about them.

Anywho. Hi, it's Rocy. I just got permission to bring in my second character, Matsumoto Shizuka ...and her first name is Shizuka, by the way. I'm just weird and like things properly formatted. :D

I was going to write out a shiny paragraph like I did for Devon, but I found it really hard to summarize her. Rawr. The bare bones are that she is a fifth year Araboth. Faie. Japanese. She's originally from Nagoya, Japan (first three hundred years of her life, just about), but she's currently living with her grandfather and little sister in Brooklyn, USA. Her family used to be the big Faie power in Japan/east Asia, but that ended about 400-500 years ago. Ummm. Yeah, I just woke up and I'm already late for work. And I'm out of coffee. SO! There's more information in her biography, including appearance/tattoo, likes/dislikes, and personality. Go read it. Pleaaase.

PS. I heart plots and backstories.

As the newspaper article noted, a fight broke out between two students on the quad. If your character is not listed as a relationship here, feel free to have them know the two students. We couldn't include everyone in the direct plot, so if you're not in it, your character probably wasn't present during the fight, sorry! But don't worry! We'll have plenty of plots in the future!

The tl;dr? Read the newspaper article. Also, the power went out at half of Idris Academy (mostly dorms) around 5:30pm on Friday and didn't come back up until 8pm. The newspaper article came out Saturday morning, but I'm sure it was the talk of the school well before then. Amelia and Sullivan didn't leave for the London hospital until Saturday morning, though.

EDIT: Just a note, the mods decided to replace the NPC Faie with Fionan, who was seriously injured in the fight and sent to the hospital, and eventually home.

On top of apologizing (x129389275) I'd also like to introduce Nira (and myself - Dany) again for those of you who may not know her (new players?) or forgot...

Nira is an openly gay, extremely mean, competitive, alcoholic, not to mention insensitive, Warlock supremacist Blitzball captain (and goalie) who has a penchant for calling boys by girls names, creating her own nicknames for other girls, and likes tormenting Penelope. : ) Honestly, I think that sums it up quite well.

edit: I also forgot to mention that I'll be gone most of tomorrow attending my cousin's wheelchair rugby tournament and have work the following day, but after that. I promise to exist more. <3

Viitoria needs plot... D: I'm not really sure what to do with her. She's got like, 1.5 friends left. And most people aren't really enemies, they're just people she can't bother to interact with.

WHICH IS ENTIRELY MY FAULT. For, you know, making her a total bitch that nobody ever tries to go near.

But yeah. Plot would be nice. Anything, really. Or suggestions for what the Head Girl would do.

Hey guys! :) Mei is in a chipper mood today and is excited, which means she's spamming you with mod posts!

- Some of you got emails a few days ago about the upcoming mod plot! Don't worry, it will all become clear this weekend! The plot hasn't been set in place yet, but we're putting a few things down to get it started. So look forward to that! We'll have an OOC mod post up explaining everything in detail most likely Saturday night or Sunday.

- Halloween, an American holiday, is this Saturday! There's no actual celebration, but the school is allowing school dress code appropriate costumes for students to wear all day Friday if they wish to celebrate. Because there are so many American students at Idris, some townspeople do leave candy outside of their doors Halloween night. And sometimes students like to hand out candy as well.

- We just finished a round of removals, unfortunately, and lost 8 characters. (Sad...) Hunter, Z, Evelina, Shou, Lily, Dick, Eli, and Fionan! (Sadface!) If you had plot with one of those characters and need to write them out for some reason, please let the mods know what you're thinking. For now, Z will remain in school and be NPC'd.

I think that's it FOR TODAY!

On a scale of 1-10 for ridiculousness, this is probably about an 8.

Hello all~ I’m Kit for those of you that I haven’t met yet via chat. And for those who I have its five am and I finally finished that homework assignment I was whining about. Woohoo! So uh awesome and I’m going to apologize now if this somehow manages to not be coherent, which is sadly very likely.

Anyway onto the point, I’m bringing in Laura Caterine Rousseau-Smith. She’s a sixth year in Mathey, house prefect, and a gravity witch. Not that any characters really have to worry she can only intensify gravity while conscious and even then not always when she wants to. Friends will also know that a sure way to really keep her from gluing anyone to their spot would be to make her hands temporarily unusable as she utilizes hand motions to keep from messing with all gravity in a general 20 foot radius around her.

I would really love a close friend for her and a couple other friends, people she doesn’t get along with, a trouble maker to learn of her midnight runs and give her some stress over her it. Maybe a romance line where things start out good and quickly fizzles out. Would anyone be interested in “introducing” her to the wild side of a party? She’s such a well behaved girl after all and never thinks of breaking any other rules than her runs. :D

So that’s quick paraphrased version. Again I’m sorry if this didn’t make much sense sleeping for only an hour didn’t help me too much. It looks like I'm the new kid here~ I even skimmed through the AIM list and nope! I don't know a single person. Eek!

Anyway, I'm Rocy. I'm bringing in Devon Valeria Callaghan, an Irish-Argentine, African Wild Dog Therian. What a mouthful. She prefers being called Dev, never Val or Valeria, but close friends can call her whatever they want. She'll even respond to 'hey, you' most of the time.

I ♥ storylines. Friends, enemies, 'frenemies' ? Future ~romantic interests? I'd love to have a guy that she can be a total guy around, which basically means being her filthy-minded, animalistic, hedonistic self. Haha. Other than that, just the basics, I guess.

Hey guys~

I know I said I was back from my hiatus and then I did nothing. For that, I'm sorry. My life has been absolutely crazy.

Well, I think I told most everyone that my family patriarch passed away. Then my brother came in town from Afghanistan. Then, one of my co-workers had a heart attack at work and died the next day. My son's report-card came in during all of this other stuff full of Cs and Ds. I just couldn't keep up with everything.

I hope to be back-ish now. I think I still have some open threads from like a month or two ago. Sorry to everyone I have kept waiting. Does anyone have any ideas on how we can get these wrapped up pretty quick?

I'm always around on AIM, whether away or mobile, so feel free to ping me.

I disappeared for like... a five day period, sorry to all of you I have threads with I will try to reply to those today or tomorrow. I was up visiting my old University (not really the part that I went to o.o) this weekend, went to Vicky's birthday so I didn't really disappear from her life :P buuuuuut...I was out of town and forgot to let anyone know soooo, that's where I was and I swear I will respond to my threads and stop being such a bum :P
