Hi. Just posted a valentine gram thing announcement in IC and I think it is pretty self explanatory. Essentially you will comment to that post with the message you want to send. Who you want to send it to. Who it is from (some people might be evil and write that it is from someone else or you can make it annonymous) And whether or not you want a rose attached.

I made comments screened so people will be surprised on friday with what their charries manage to have delivered to them. Any questions, ping me or comment here. Please make your comments before Friday because I have to go on daughters field trip Friday morning and to make things pretty it will take me some time and then posting them all. Thanks! =D

Hi! My name is Char, and I thought I'd introduce myself because...well, I just recently got accepted to Idris Academy!

I'm really excited to be a part of this RP :] My character is named Natalie Krause, known as Allie to everyyyone (except maybe teachers who like to address students by their full names), and she's a 17-year-old seventh year in the Zebul house. She's calm, cool, and tends to be a tad bit sarcastic, but is also fun and witty and casual when you get to know her. Life hates me!

Hello! Just thought I'd do an introduction here, since I am new.

I'm Robyn. I'm 22 and plenty experienced in RPing. I'm an ex-Creative Writing major at UVIC and currently I run a construction company. Random, I know. Anyway, I'm super friendly, so you should ping me at burnscarring. It's an IC SN I made, so be sure to specify if you want to talk IC or OOC, please and thank you.

Okay, so. This girl here is Rafiya. She's 17 and in 6th year, Araboth house. Warlock. She's a center for her blitzball team, despite the hell this sometimes plays on her legs. She got pulled into a riot in South Africa when she was 12 and her legs got all burned to hell, so she's pretty much one big scar from the thighs down. She still wears the school uniform though, she just keeps her socks pulled up. She doesn't really hide it, but she doesn't flaunt it either.

She's been at the school for a couple years, but she's pretty cold. She doesn't have many friends, but she's not a TOTAL cow either. Just a bit of a superior snob, kind of condescending, bit of a hippie. She was trained in shamanism by her grandfather, so much of her warlock thing is focussed on like, African rituals and healing and spirit world stuff. As in, she knows how to make salves and potions and things, and some pretty strong hallucinogenic drugs. For trance purposes. Heh.

Okay, um, she's kind of distant and cold and haughty, but if anyone wouldn't care about that, I would be interested in like, a friend or two. Or maybe a boy? But we'll see once y'all have a chance to see how I play her. Oooh, and who's her roomie?

Lol, wow this got long. Sorry guys. But um, plot with me? I don't know anyone here!


Edited to Add: Forgot to mention, she has a nice strong South African accent, still isn't quite perfect with her English (but if you call her out on a mistake, she will give you a Death Glare), and she hates hates hates the cold. She bundles up ridiculous much in the snow. Scarves, mitts, hats, jackets, two pairs of socks, etc. She makes a big pouty face in the cold.

In regards to the pairings situation this is where my charries stand on peoples.

Cora only has issues with James and Alec.

Rocky likes everyone except Cid and Moswen.

Oliver is hardest since he has a fairly don't care attitude and avoids conflict. If someone is a jackass, he'll just leave. So I imagine you can stick him wherever there's a hole that no one else can fill. I don't think we will be able to have teams where all the people have an issue with one of the charries on that team. But you never know.

Remember this post? The mods have decided to go ahead with the project plot. Here's the deal:

1. Each group is made up of three or two students.
2. Students of each group do not have to be in the same house, year or magical group.
3. Students in the same group tend to hate/dislike/abhor each other in varying degrees.

Here's what you have to do:
- discuss with the muns of characters whom you think your pup cannot get along with
- form groups of 3 or 2 characters (not muns)
- reply to this post with your grouping (comments will be screened & only one of the group need reply)

The mods will sort through all that and a private email from the students' respective head of houses will send them out an email soon with information on this. The Headmaster will make an announcement about it too. Mods will also post an OOC entry after we've sorted everything out so players know who their pups are grouped with.

Let's make this experience as painful and traumatising for our pups as possible! Mwahahahaha~

SO. I unortunately have some bad news. I have been an inactive jerk for the past few days because, while I did have internet access in some days, IJ was blocked. I had no internet at my college home, which made things more difficult. In beautiful Argentina, I just didn't have the energy. Now I am already in my definitive home until the end of February, and it also has no internet.

Do consider the past days as a forced hiatus, and I just wanted to let you all know I'll organize myself to access the web at least once a day. The good news is that almost all restaurants I went to had wifi, so I can take my laptop, and lan houses are in almost every corner. Things will fall into a routine this week, so hopefully everything will be easier.

Anyway. I LOVE YOU ALL AND I WILL TAG EVERYONE BACK ASAP. D:

Hey guys!  I just wanted to apologize for my massive absence this past week.  My brain has been eaten by my classes, and I have 5 (count'em FIIIIIIIVE) tests this week.  One today, one tuesday, one wednesday, and 2 thursday.  I will be a little non-responsive this week, but I will do my damndest to get the threads I'm in finished ASAP!!!  Love you all, though, so don't think I don't!  Hahaha

Plot post

Time for our periodic plot posts! :)

Plot posts are so players can comment with quirky plots they'd like played out (e.g. Alec has been skipping class and Lena wants someone to nag at the authorities about how he's getting away with it OR Lena wants someone to prank Alec.) but don't have a particular person to thread with. This would be where other players can pick up on the plot and perhaps have a place to plan it as well. This is also the place to go if you're just itching for a thread and you don't really have anything in mind!

Comment here with your idea or just a shout-out for general threading action. It can be as detailed or as general as you want! Similarly, if you see something you're interested in or a character you haven't had a chance to play with, please do respond to them!

Also, we have been thinking of having mandatory (for the students, not the players) work groups. The main idea is that because of all the strife and dislike running around Idris, the Headmaster has decided to pair up people who don't get along (for whatever reason) and make them complete a community service/act together. (e.g. Lendie and Tory might be paired as Tory is just about the only person Lendie doesn't get along with.) If we did it, your character would be paired with someone and they would have to do whatever their assigned project was. You wouldn't have to thread it out if you didn't want to, however. This would also be a good way to get to play with people you might not normally have the chance to play with.

SO, what we need is your opinions/comments/feedback on this idea. Respond here with what you think, if you'd like to do it, etc.

Okay it's now about three weeks since Jannie's birthday (and this log) and there's a change going on with her. These first few weeks she's just been a bit more reclusive than usual but during the coming ones she will be pissy, snappy and just begging for trouble pretty much. Not to mentioning going out of her way to piss people off and no it does not matter who they are, if they somehow annoy her she will to the best of her ability go after them. Also, warning word to the ladies, getting to close to jae at this time will get you cursed.

All the warlocks will probably start feeling a bit, uncomfortable around her and there's an unmistakable air bad mojo and black magic.

So consider this a sort of heads up and a chance to sign your characters up to be cursed, verbal targets or even physical as well as opt out if there's anyone really not wanting to be included in her tirades? Please let me know.
