Not to sound like the new guy, but since that's what I am, what the hell hit this town? I have some information from the welcoming committee, but I'm still trying to piece this whole thing together. In the meantime, can I do anything to help? I have some degree of medical knowledge, a lot of field medic experience, and can take direction well.

I'm Lieutenant Hikaru Sulu, by the way. Though I'm going to guess that the ranking doesn't mean much here.

Welcome, Lieutenant Sulu. I am Aramis, and what happened most recently was what's called a Blood-Starved Beast. Nasty beast, but now thankfully taken care of.

If you come by the Department labs, we have some makeshift triage setup for post battle wounds, and always welcome more help.

Yeah, sorry about that. It's not so bad here. Bit of a madhouse at times, but I'd prefer to stay myself.

I would assure you that it isn't always this wild and crazy, but that would unfortunately not be entirely truthful. We get different sorts of crazy, at least? It's not always quite so bad.
