By July 18th, “Jack Danby for Mayor of Woodsbridge” would have had a very professional looking website (similar to these http://katiemcginty.com/ & https://www.derayformayor.com/ ). The website would have been publicized in local papers, blogs, what have you (if you’d like your characters media source to be one of these feel free to make a post or just comment here and we’ll add the name of their paper/show/what have you). By July 19th citizens of Woodsbridge would see advertisements on bus benches, billboards, in the pages of the paper, most looked similar to this: Campaign Manager: Elias Bishop • An outline of his platform and his stance on different issues: Public Safety. If you have questions about any of his views on these issues please feel free to comment under the platform header and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can. • A brief biography/list of Jack’s qualifications which may be limited but were expanded on to show how each of his past jobs was a stepping stone in this direction. They have good PR people let’s put it that way. If you have questions on this section feel free to comment under the header below. • A place where people can leave their name/contact info to volunteer to help with the campaign. • A place where people can sign his petition to run for Mayor (although he probably has enough signatures at this point, if people want to show they supported him running, they could leave their names online). • The location of his Campaign Headquarters, where all volunteers will meet/coordinate with each other and the Campaign Managers. The headquarters are located on Nimble Road in the Mulberry District and consist of a floor of offices, an open center for calls, and a larger room for “team meetings.” • The website also announced that Jack’s first fundraiser would be a Picnic in Belle’s Garden on July 30th. Anyone who wanted to attend could have bought a ticket for $10 per person. There’s going to be a raffle, and tickets for that will be $5 a piece. |
