So, one of the passengers is going to provide a layer of ice to shore up the observation car. I'm worried about all the windows, of course, but this is the only car that's ... entirely a window. If a small window breaks, it will be bad, but if that entire car breaks, I can't see anything good coming of it.

If anyone's interested in volunteering, I thought we could take turns reinforcing it with strengthening charms, or stasis charms to keep the ice from melting. If you've any other ideas, I'd be open to hearing them.

I did think about trying to turn the glass to stone, but I thought that might be counter productive in the end.

Just let me know, and we'll see what we can work out.

	I've done some smaller scale strengthening charms in mine and Matt's room to help the windows. Otherwise we're teaming up to keep things dry (and I'm trying to think of more options for other windows). (Reply to this) (Thread)

	An excellent solution, well done for quick thinking Lily. I'm willing to help keep it in place. Maybe some sort of rota could be arranged? I was wondering if Colloportus might be useful. It's useless it terms of reinforcing things of course, but it might help with sealing around windows? ~~It's the pressure I'm worried about~~ (Reply to this) (Thread)

	I wouldn't trust myself at that. Transfiguration was never my strength. Sirius and James might be good at it though, and ... perhaps some of the ... well, I don't want to call them children when they're my own age, but the ones from our distant future. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
