Characters: Margaret and Open
When: Wednesday evening
Location: The training room
Warnings/Rating: None as of right now
Summary: Maggie is blowing off some steam by some target practice.
Status: Open and ongoing.

This place really wasn’t the type of place Maggie felt comfortable at. No, she was the type that was more for the simple stuff instead of all this craziness causing her to be rather on edge for reasons other than waiting for something bad to happen. This was the type of place she knew she would never be able to afford or if she could it wasn’t somewhere she would go. Maggie was a simple girl who wasn’t all fond of this place like so many other people were. Yes, the place was nice, but she wasn’t comfortable in places like this which was causing her to kind of just wander without really doing much. The pool was nice, but she wasn’t in the mood to go relax by it for some sun. Shopping used to be fun when she was younger only she wasn’t a girly girl or all that crazy for shopping. She bought what she needed and that was it for her unless she needed more weapons before she left.

Most of her time was spent just walking around the place in her tank top and jeans, but she was tired of seeing the same thing all the time. With a sigh, she decided to go practice on her shooting as a way to say she did something while in this stupid place. Her big gun was staying here and only took one of her smaller guns with her to the room that she could program into a gun range. Part of her felt bad about using her ammo, but she could get more since it wasn’t like she had a crossbow to take some anger out with. Nope, her gun was all she had and this would help with the stress she had. Moving up to the line, she aimed her gun for the target as she held her stance without so much as a problem. Her thoughts went to Pope’s brother and his friend who hurt her as she took a few shots at the target. Not even one miss and they were all kill shots as she smirked. Still had it even after all this time of not practicing.

Maggie had never been one for weapons, but she learned quickly with the alien attack along with feeling very unsafe with the men that she had been with. Things didn’t get any better once she knew how to protect herself until she finally killed the two men, but she could take care of herself.

“Why not? If you don’t mind me asking,” Maggie was rather curious about that whole thing. “Nice little gift from your dad. How long have you been using the bow and arrow if you were given them at such a young age?” Maggie never really had her parents around, but she really didn’t think her parents would give her a weapon. Her grandma only gave her a knife when she hit high school as protection in case someone tried to hurt her. “Thanks. Yeah, in my world right now guns are an important every day thing if you want to survive. The bow and arrow type stuff is only good if you’re trying to do a sneak attack.” That brought back the memory of Maggie trying to teach Hal how to use one when he was determined to sneak in and get his brother back. Didn’t work, but she knew that if she needed one that she was safe.

After a moment she decided to ask the question that was on the tip of her tongue. “How old are you? I mean I don’t really care, but more I’m a curious person.”
