Remember when..? {Atten: Jou & Hisoka}
Without sound the jagged tear opened black and endless against the blue sky, a second later it had healed up leaving no sign of its ever being there in the first place. However the creature it had allowed to cross through its dark maw soared the sky above the market area of the town below it, eyes watching the people moving through it idly. He wasn't looking for anyone purposely, but when he spotted a certain blond, the massive clawed wingspan dipped to tilt the body into a downward angle to take him down closer.

Affirming the identity of the young man, he briefly considered the choices and promptly decided on the next course of action to be put into effect, starting with once again lowering his flight to brush the tip of one wing down over the top of the blond's head to let him become aware that there was something there with him now. The next action would be the boy's, depending on it, he would decide what course would follow -- or rather one might say just how long the rest of his time here would be, extremely short or perhaps lasting for just a few hours longer, provided they weren't rudely interrupted in the course of their little game.

Unfortunately for Hisoka's ears, Hana had been with Urahara when the shopkeeper got the call. And he wasn't exactly happy when he got there. Honestly, Hisoka should have known better to begin with.

Still, he had work to do, instead of lecturing for the moment, so he knelt next to Jou, healing the wrist without much trouble at all, and a 'you are in such trouble' sort of look directed toward the younger shinigami.

Urahara decided that he'd let the archer deal with keeping Hana quieted down for a little longer while he helped Hisoka up to his feet and prodded him just a couple feet away from Jou to a bench he'd spotted just past the sidewalk. "Have a seat, I'd like to talk with you about something I've been working on for a small while...I think it could prevent something like this from happening again. Interested in hearing about it?"

Hisoka squeezed Jou's hand briefly before he fought his way to his feet, lightheaded from blood loss and still a little unsteady. He listened to Urahara with calm, sharp eyes, though, feeling them narrow a little. "Well, that'd be nice, considering that we had two inches between Jou getting gutted like that instead of me, and he doesn't put himself back together." Hisoka sat down heavily, making a disgusted sound at the blood everywhere, sighing. "What've you been working on?"

"How about we get you both into some clean clothes and somewhere safe before we get into that, hmm?" Urahara asked as he looked from Hisoka back over to the bloody mess on the sidewalk and then almost pointedly at the sky as if to suggest that if they hung around for overlong another interruption in the form of a new hollow might appear.

Hisoka barely refrained from rolling his eyes and nodded, knowing that secrecy was an ingrained Pavlovian response from Urahara. He had a good point anyway. Hisoka pushed up from the bench, making a face at the bloody mess he'd left and went back over to Jou, taking his hand and squeezing lightly. He was almost completely healed.

"C'mon," he said softly. "Let's go to Urahara's to get cleaned up, okay?"

Jou tightened his fingers around Hisoka's, squeezing them partially to reassure Hisoka and partially to confirm to himself that yes, Hisoka was still there and no, he was not leaving. Scrambling up, he thanked Hana with a tired half-grin, waving his left hand at him to show that it was once again in working order, before he leaned close to Hisoka.

"Yeah, okay, cleaning up. That sounds really good. I mean, you got a little something on you," he said, trying to lighten the situation a bit as he broadly indicated the whole of Hisoka's front.

Upon reaching the shop, he left the two in the front to seek out Tessai and ask the man if he could take care of getting a bath and some clothes ready for them.

Once finished with that, he returned and directed them toward the bath before heading toward the kitchen to make tea so they'd have something to drink while they waited for their lunch to be made.
