Theo squinted at the list he clutched in one hand in irritation. In the other hand he held a bag of assorted potions ingredients and some books. He hadn't taken the time to send them home, or to shrink them to a more manageable size and now they banged against his leg awkwardly.

"Bloody...why did I let a house elf write the shopping list?" he said, shaking his head in exasperation. He'd already done some dreadfully boring furniture and decor shopping earlier and now he was looking for some scouring potions, or was that souring lotions?

Padma had just started preparing dinner when she heard a knock at her door - which was odd, considering that no one ever used the door to her flat. She grabbed her wand at warily made her way to the door. It was nearly six and she'd been late home from work after catching up on some missed paperwork that she was rather sure she had given Pansy to sort. She cast a few charms to check for any ill will coming from the other side of the door and to see if the person on the other side was recognised by her wards. She opened the door cautiously, frowning at the sight of the tall blond man waiting in the hallway. She didn't know any tall -

"Who are you?" she demanded. She only knew one person remotely that tall, keeping her wand at the height of his head behind the door.

Padma had been dreading work every day since she read Pansy's journal entry in her Friend Speak. She'd tentatively entered her department for several days at the end of the last week, wary of running into Pansy at every turn - and the lack of Pansy had done nothing to relieve her. If anything, she'd been experiencing a growing tension that seemed to fill her stomache and leave her with a constant dull, headache. (She'd be loathe to admit, but she'd been brushing up on any adjectives she thought particularly described her childhood nemesis. She didn't honestly think Pansy had a larger vocabulary, but Padma had always been one to lose all remembrance of proper sentence cohesion and any and all suitable retorts when in Pansy's direct presence.)
