Theo squinted at the list he clutched in one hand in irritation. In the other hand he held a bag of assorted potions ingredients and some books. He hadn't taken the time to send them home, or to shrink them to a more manageable size and now they banged against his leg awkwardly.
"Bloody...why did I let a house elf write the shopping list?" he said, shaking his head in exasperation. He'd already done some dreadfully boring furniture and decor shopping earlier and now he was looking for some scouring potions, or was that souring lotions?
Theodore despised shopping more than anything and he'd been at it for at least two hours now. He'd already snapped at several store clerks and the only consolation for this miserable day was the fact that three-fourths of his list was now checked off.
Grumbling to himself about the inconveniences of having to shop for one's self Theo crashed on an empty bench. He dumped the bags on the ground carelessly and yawned. The time difference, though mild, between Britain and France had his internal clock all messed up and his body had refused to go to sleep the night before.
Theo stuffed his hands into his pockets, he had thoughtlessly tossed on some muggle clothes as that had been normal wear in France were there was higher wizard-muggle contact, and stared out at the passing crowds. He now regretted his choice in clothing due to the nervous stares he received and the three times he'd been checked by an auror to see if he'd registered. Three aurors that he had happily chewed out for the inconvenience, there were some benefits to being a pureblood. Another of his favorite past-times was people watching and he was almost surprised by all the people he didn't recognize. Glancing up he noted the Weasleys' Wizarding Wheezes sign with interest. He had wondered out the joke shop had fared since he'd last heard of it, apparently rather well.
Theo yawned again, stretching, the warmth of the sun a welcome comfort in comparison to the always cold manor. Finally he sighed and picked up the list to attempt to decipher the last few things.
