I suppose this is the best place to reach the student body.
So yet another person doesn't lose a day of learning because of burns, I want to post a few reminders.
When it comes to magic, remember your basics.
Right Movement While some skilled mages can use magic with just the wiggle of their nose, I guarantee you are probably not one of them. Not yet anyway. Right now, make sure your gestures are big and grand and complete. Practice this like you would with your swords and guns and gunswords and whatnot.
Right Words I understand some of you may not know how to use the language you grew up speaking but make sure you are saying the right words with the right intonations. There is a subtle difference between snowball and blizzard and it would do well to remember this.
Right Mind You need to concentrate. Yes, I know all this Donnersburg technology has split attention spans but make sure you concentrate on your focus as you build your spell. I know you'd rather be thinking of other things -- if the appearances of snakes and coin purses are any indication -- but it is important to shut your mind off to all distractions if you ever want to be a true master.
As usual, I am available for any questions. I have no idea who is spreading the rumor I give magical power in exchange for blood but while it did make me chuckle the first time I heard it, I do tire of it and the ones who could use extra tutoring are now afraid of me.
