Elysium

I do vastly prefer the depths of winter to the heat of summer. Dark does not bother me; it is an opportunity to reflect and look inward. (Which most of us sorely need, even in the best of times.) Time when the world stands still, and there is quiet.

Though it isn't quite the same in a city. How do you ever find any quietude in a land that never rests?
