Who: Justin Finch-Fletchley and Sally-Anne Perks.
What: Yet, another conversation between an open door.
Where: The hallway between their flats.
When: Tuesday night.
Rating: No idea.
Justin wanted answers. They had worked so hard to get to where they were; that point where if someone asked Justin, who Sally-Anne Perks was - he would most certainly say ‘friend’, and despite the fact they hated each other, that she was a pureblood and he was a muggle-born, that she turned down his advances; when he wanted to see how they would work as a couple, they still ended up as friends. Some crazy force - of whatever (Justin would have thought; magic, if he wouldn’t have sounded completely cliche) had pushed them together and despite all of that, Sally was once again pushing him away. Justin couldn’t just let that go. He had worked too hard on this, and liked everything Justin put his effort and time into, he couldn’t just forget about it. So it was because of that exact reason, that Justin found himself standing outside Sally’s door.
With his hair recently cut short, he couldn’t tug down on his fringe and he suddenly missed it; missed not being able to do that. It would mean his hands would have to be free most of the night and idle hands, had never been a good thing for Justin, especially when he was unsure of how something was going to go. He knew he would have to keep his temper in check, which had never been one of his strong suits and he knew, he would have to pretend this whole thing didn’t bother him too much. But, the thing was, it did. It irked him in a way that Justin wasn’t quite sure how to put it. But, he did miss her.
Justin raised his hand up to the door and knocked. And once again it was a waiting game.
