There was no denying the fact that Justin liked Megan, a lot. That he wanted to continually slap himself for not noticing her before. That he couldn't see himself with anyone else, but with Megan, when he finally decided he wanted to spend the rest of his life with someone. But, despite all of that. He couldn't help, but be a little upset, that things hadn't gone that way with Sally either. "Yeah. She's a perfect fit for me. And you're right, you probably wouldn't have been. But." Justin stopped, there shouldn't be any but's -- not in this case. So, Justin decided to change the subject, "Does this mean, we can't be friends anymore? Because, I really hope it doesn't."
Justin took a step or two forward, noticing for the first time just how much he had stepped away from her before. Had he not trusted himself before? "I've kind of missed you. But, it isn't like you can ever repeat this or use this against me now." He let a small smile slip onto his face, because despite everything, he had missed their banter.
