Who: Fleur Weasley and Hermione Granger.
What: A cooking lesson that may very well end in disaster.
Where: Ron and Hermione's flat.
When: Saturday afternoon.
Rating: Low.
It had been quite a while since Hermione had initially asked Fleur if she would mind giving her a cooking lesson, much along the same lines as the one she had given Ron. The older woman had readily agreed, but even so, Hermione had managed to let it 'slip her mind' and continually put it off for as long as possible. There was something about her inevitable failure that had her lacking interest in the whole situation.
But when Fleur had reminded her of their plans the previous day, she had gone ahead and decided to bite the bullet and get the whole thing over with. Seeing as Ron had at least learned how to make one decent meal, reason dictated that she should do the same. After all, they couldn't live on sandwiches and Chinese food forever.
Naturally, Hermione had sent him out while Fleur was going to be there, she didn't really want nor require an audience to her adventure in cooking. Particularly not one like Ron.
Wandering rather aimlessly around the kitchen as she waited, Hermione straightened absolutely everything on the bench until it was at an angle that satisfied her and then dropped down into the chair at the head of the table.
No, she wasn't nervous at all.
