The night is my companion, solitude my guide...
Who: Louella & OPEN!
When: Morning; Feb 5th.
Where: After breakfast, bibliothèque.
What: Heading toward the Library. Lou is really irritated by the fact that Valentines is around the corner, and everyone is fussing.
Rating: "R"!!!! (Just kidding! ;3)
Status: IN progress!

Soft pattering echoed through the hall, heading toward the library. Hands wrapped around four or five books, holding them tightly into her petite frame. Louella moved with haste, as they were quite heavy. She made no time for chitter chatter on the way there, basically ignoring every acknowledgment she received while heading toward the room. The books were heavy for merlin's sake! She couldn't stand to be social for five minutes, and still hold them. After all, these books were supported against her stomach. It would take quite some time alone for the pressure to cease after setting them down, anyway. Holding the books to communicate to fellow students would only make the pain last twice as long.

She did not run, but was definitely comparable to the speed of a "swift rabbit". One could even suggest superhuman powers, but that wasn't hardly the case. Finally making it into the room, Louella's excitement and ache, meshed with adrenaline, allowed her to run to the nearest table and set the books down upon it. A soft thud sounded off in the room, causing the occasional eye to drift in her direction. Was she sorry for the interuptions? HELL NO! Once the pressure from her stomach was removed, Lou moved over to the chair, panting softly with her body sprawled out upon it. Oh how good it felt, to accomplish such a physical challenge as the one she just triumphed over. Seriously, she wasn't anyone's bitch. When people used to tell her to run, she'd merely scoff in their face. She'd much rather see YOU do it. However, impressed with herself, she regained her proper stature, pulling the first book close to her.

Opening the cover and flipping a few pages, she found herself distracted by what sounded like excessive flirting. Desperate girls were quite a nuisance to society, ESPECIALLY in a LIBRARY for merlin's sake! The soft giggles, muffled with the female's hand (as if she knew where she was, and tried to prevent any noise from exhaling) really didn't help matters much. Very expressive her in face, Louella threw her neck back, laying against the back of the chair. "This bitch has some nerve!" She thought to herself, offering seven or eight shots with her evil eye at the two. The female was gorgeous. Blonde, blue-eyed. 5'8'', curvy in all the right places. The type you just WANT to kill. Louella could tell she was probably the stereotypical bimbo, whom flaunted her sex appeal for good grades. Something Lou would never do, in a million bajillion years.

Oh, she was irritated. Finally when the noise settled, she went back to reading the material once more. However, before getting half a page in, the blonde haired female started again! This time, there was a roar to her laughter, and a soft mentioning of the male's name. Obviously a younger student.

" Oh, Nick! Stopppp! " Said the blonde female, playing with her hair.

Louella threw her body back once more, slamming the cover of the book as she did so. This time, her form was angled right at the two. Sure, she was human. Valentines was around the corner. Chocolates were good. Studying was more important! She wanted nothing more than to go over there, and tell her she was ugly, fat and the guy she was hitting on was totally playing her. However, she didn't. No, Louella always kept her tongue bit.

Let me assure you, it's red, and quite swollen.

No, Louella really couldn't give a flying merlin's butt, but hey.. she was attempting to actually show some sign of compassion. Running her fingers through her hair, she let her fingers slide back down afterwards, landing safely back against the pages in her book. " The common room... sounds like a lot of fun... " She rolled her eyes, releasing her feet from forming the triangle. She was attempting to show signs with her body language not to really wish to talk to Jac any longer.

However, she remained cordial, moving her book to the desk first, still sitting facing toward her direction. " Oooh. Sounds challenging. I hope you have everything you'll need. And the practice to make it, as well. Perhaps you might consider enlisting on the help of others. I'm unsure whether or not you'd be able to handle such a powerful sounding spell. Especially with the fact that it hasn't been done in decades. " Louella said, cocking her head to the side a bit. She was unsure how the female would react. After all, she did sort of present a verbal challenge for Jac.

Louella's nose was hit with the scents of all sort of herbs, spices and oils. Her sense of smell was strong. Her eyes lit up, and she coffed, covering her mouth. " God, that smells fruity. " She said, exhaling with a soft whine at the end of the last released carbon dioxide. Certainly, it didn't smell like oranges and strawberries, and cherries. It was placing the term fruity with another conotation.

She smiled at Jac, turning her body toward the table with every inching minute of silence.

It was times like these that Jacquelyn truly thought that Louella was off her sodding rocker. Jacquelyn was getting the impression that Lou would rather chew ground glass than talk to her, but she'd asked. Jacquelyn would be perfectly happy to read her book and take notes on the potion she was working on...

But then again, Louella showed interest. Jacquelyn turned slightly, her brow rising with each challenging word. "..." She opened her mouth slightly and closed it again, biting her lip. Displays of temper got you nowhere. Still, she couldn't keep the flush from creeping up her throat, blushing her cheeks and pinking the tips of her ears as Jacquelyn tamped down the anger.

The silence lingered. Jacquelyn wouldn't speak until she was sure she could control what she was going to say. The moment had almost passed... Louella drawing back into her own little isolation yet again. Finally, Jacquelyn pulled out a pen-knife and took a few slivers off her quill, blowing the slivers and the dust across the pages and into Louella's face.

"Thank you for that advice Louella..." she said sweetly, her smile quite frozen on her face as the other girl suffered through the cloud of musky old book. "Maybe you'd like to help... I could help you I'm sure..." after all, while a challenge, it wasn't as hard as all that.
