The new and improved Sable Salon looked… much like the old Salon, just more spacious and elegant than it had been drab and gloomy. New recessed lights made the walls appear like they went on forever. The dark paneling had been spruced up, the floors buffed to a shine. Chandeliers hung down strategically in the foyer and the main room, glittering but not over-bright.
Everything tasteful. Everything expensive.
Whether Cinna's current client appreciated the effect was another matter; he hadn't been here to witness the old Salon, though, so he likely couldn't tell the difference. "How are you enjoying Dunwich?" Cinna asked as he swept a silky black cape around the client's body and secured it behind his neck. "You weren't caught up in that unpleasantness on the beach, I hope?"
