If you don't know enough songs for karaoke but you still want to do it, come over to 13 Mt Pleasant St, it's right in the middle of town. You can tell me what sort of thing you want to sing and I'll help you find something that matches.

Is it too late for an old man to learn songs? (I'm not all that old, I suppose, but back home I was ancient).

Nope!

And don't worry, I call everyone old. In my defense a ton of my dad's coworkers are here.

Well, that's good. I'll try not to embarrass you too much. I appreciate the offer. We didn't have much time for music back home.

I've had Spotify Premium since I was thirteen so I usually have something on in the background when I'm studying or whatever.

My dad wrote a bestselling book about how I inspired him to be a better person/superhero, I'm pretty embarrass-proof now.

I've been told I have a deeper voice. Is there any easy songs you'd recommend?

Oh. Well, it's nice, at least, that he recognizes you like that. Must be a pretty good story to be a best seller.

Anything bluesy. Or Johnny Cash, Frank Sinatra, or Billy Idol. They've got some good old ones.

Well, you know, superhero. He was in prison when I was really little so he went from that to helping save the world, it's been pretty crazy.

I will have to look into those. Spotify, you said? (I told you we didn't have a lot of this back home, right?)

A superhero...who was in prison? Sounds like your dad and I may get along. I tried to change the world and was nearly sentenced to death as a result. (That's a long story, mind you).

Spotify, yeah. You can listen to everything for free but it will play ads in between the songs sometimes. When you pay a monthly fee for Spotify Premium there's no ads and some other advantages.

Yeah, he started out as just a normal engineer until he found problems at his job, but when he tried to report them he realised the bosses knew. So he hacked them to return a whole lot of money to the customers who'd been ripped off and went to jail for it. Then he was having trouble finding a job after he got out until he got recruited by this rich old inventor to steal some of his technology from his old protegee who was going to misuse it and while doing that he met one of the Avengers so then he got recruited to help them out, and it all kind of escalated from there.

Oh, I see. Lots of options, then.

It definitely sounds like he and I would get along, from how you tell it. Maybe he'll show here, some day.
