Saturday Night | TBD

It's a hot night and I don't feel like sleeping | I got too much commotion running 'round my mind | Some kind of second sight, I see the meaning of everything | With the fever of the free and easy in the summertime

It's Saturday night and the under 21s have opted to throw their own party with a bonfire on the beach. There's food, drinks (alcoholic and non), blankets and logs to sit on with some away from the fire and some close to it. Pizza was brought by Tobias and skewers and ingredients were brought for s'mores. It'll start after dark and go until the last person wanders back home, or dawn.

	Will came. He brought what he could carry, plenty of marshmallows and s'mores stuff to share. On a personal note? He's been really down lately, and he can't seem to shake it so sitting on his own with his headphones on might be a thing. He wore a little bit of his Pride outfit, just a t-shirt with his shorts. Since he's back to being a vampire and doesn't need to eat people-food any more, he brought a load of the candy and chips he'd stocked up on during his super exciting trip to Roxxcart earlier in the week, since he's not going to eat them himself. 	Lux showed up, she brought sodas and chips and a random assortment of snacks. She absolutely jumped in the ocean, she had a bathing suit on underneath her clothes. She is glowing particularly brightly today, her hair is very wildly curly and still pink, and she is having a freakin blast. And you know, if there were drinks? She partook. Abra was there, very happy to have her powers back and show off her telekinesis to help get everything to the beach. She brought a cooler with pop, lemonade and juice, all non-alcoholic and beach toys like a beach ball. She'll also show off how she can make music play without a stereo.

Abigail is a little sad about not being able to shift anymore. She's back to covering her scar. She brought booze, some edibles - brownies and cookies, and water guns.

Eleven was there, helping Will bring the s'mores supplies. She is curious about everything, but won't be drinking the booze or trying the edibles. She doesn't want to get Will or herself in trouble by coming home buzzed/stoned.

Katniss brought sunscreen, enough to share. She's amazed how easy it is to get in Dunwich. She's a little more social than usual because she's glad to be back to being human.

Abra and El had regular swimsuits. Abigail's had a high neck. Katniss had a wetsuit.

The beach was the one place in the entirety of Dunwich that Mags felt relatively safe while being outside. She still didn't feel all the safe in Dunwich, and she was certain that at any moment something was going to happen and reveal this was part of the games - some sick, twisted thing they did to make the tributes feel some kind of way before ripping it all away again.

She felt better than Romulus was here, but she didn't want to hold him down either. He was far more social than she probably would ever be, so after trailing around him for a small amount of time, she set herself down on the beach not too far from the bonfire, pulled a couple pieces of string out of her pockets, and began tying knots.

While Romulus was extremely new to town (and he didn’t really understand the concept of pride? Is it always just a party fully of strangers around an open fire?) and coming straight from a game intent on murdering him, Romulus has thus far enjoyed himself thoroughly at this party. He knows no one but Mags and that has never deterred him from anything ever. He’s been nothing but bright smiles. Because honestly the amount of free food? The aroma? The atmosphere?

He didn’t really understand the concept of what a s’more was meant to be or why it was named that but it did give him a plethora of chocolate to eat and that was lovely.

Michael had woken up on his ceiling as soon as the sun had dipped below the horizon, absolutely ravenous and thirsty once more, and it was only when he'd drank two of the blood packs he'd kept at the back of his fridge that he'd been able to realize exactly what was going on. He'd done plenty of thinking about being a vampire again at that point, and a whole shitload of swearing about it as well, before deciding that fuck it, he was going to Tandy's party and he was going to enjoy it. He'd had enough blood, he wasn't going to go for anyone. Just to be certain, he drank another pack while he packed up all the Roxxcart food, and then headed to the beach on his bike.

He spoke to everyone once he'd donated his food to the stash, and then stripped down to his shorts before heading into the water with whoever else went swimming. Once he'd dragged Tandy further in than she'd liked, and been social for long enough, he ducked under the water and went swimming, using it as an excuse to be on his own for a while. Five minutes of checking if he was still safe to be there later, he decided he was, and started making his way back towards the bonfire. He spotted Will sitting in the same place as earlier, and detoured over to see how he was.

"Hey, man, how're you?" he asked, running a hand through his soaking wet hair and then flicking the drops of water in Will's direction, before dropping down to sit beside the other teenager.

She supposed if nothing else, a party on a beach was better than one on what amounted to a beach back home, even if she'd never been much of a partier. She'd made a few rounds talking with some people and trying to get to know at least a few people her own age before her eyes landed on a familiar face.

"Oh good," She said when she reached Jubilee, "I was starting to think that that no one cool was going to come around tonight." There might be a few other cool people gathered, but Gwen was both stubborn and a little standoffish so she was allowed to make generalizations.
