T-minus two weeks until the Norfolk-Salazar house will be complete. Then one month to get everything moved and ready for the newest Salazar. And then Christmas.

Sorry, sorry, I'm not judging or anything, I swear. I just legitimately didn't know you could have a house and not have a mortgage, you know? I just thought that was one of those adulty things like you either have to have rent or a mortgage. I'm just hoping I can inevitably add "pay for a house with cash" to my checklist at some point. I've checked off most of the other things. 😂

And, I mean, yeah, obviously I would super love to rent your house. I just don't want to take advantage or anything since I know that $650 even plus utilities isn't all that much in the grand scheme of things. I appreciate you even thinking about us!!! Your house is like basically our dream house.

No, I know. And, I mean, I'm cognizant of the fact that I'm a unique situation and sometimes I don't necessarily put that together when I'm talking about "adult" things. I just don't want it to seem like I'm, I don't know, bragging.

You'd be doing me a favor, honestly. Like I said, I don't really want to have to try to sell it and if I'm going to rent, I'd rather do it to someone I know and trust.

I grew up in a pretty middle class family, so it wasn't like we struggled or at least my mom and step-dad were good at shielding us from that. But when everything happened like it did and I went to a different tax bracket, I knew I never wanted to be an asshole rich guy. So I try not to focus on it and just do my thing and try to share all that with the people I care about when I can, but I also don't want it to be seen as anything more than me just wanting to be generous and making people's lives easier. For what it's worth, it didn't come across as you being an asshole. I just legitimately don't want to take advantage of your generosity because you've already done so much for both me and Naomi and I super appreciate all of it. Like honestly I never imagined there would be a day in my life when I would ever be considered someone you care about and that's kind of amazing. I've always wanted to be just like you, but I think I kind of like just being liked by you even more.
