So, I attended the Republican National Convention this week. That was certainly ~~a shitshow~~ interesting. As a (rare, Democrat) guest of some old friends, I had the good fortune to be invited to this year's HomoCon, which is a party for gay Republicans put on by GOProud (I know, clever right? Even Republican gays are more creative than their hetero counterparts.) As a [...] straight, Democrat attendee I was obviously there as more of an ambassador, but it was great to see some familiar faces and I even got a disco ball keychain for my daughter. I also got to spend some time with my father during the RNC, and although he still hasn't quite forgiven me for turning out liberal, a box of cigars seemed to help him forget for a few days.

What are some other effective methods you use to help your parents forget about how they're supposed to be disappointed in you?

firstly, let's get one thing straight that has apparently gone over your head. a prostitute does not offer sex/sexual favors indiscriminately. your definition there is essentially wrong. we have sex for money, yes. i am with you on that. but, as you are so fervently protesting that you are not a whore, don't pretend you know what it is we little shits do.

secondly, thank you. yes. i get the difference between having intercourse and not. my issue is not there. my issue is that i think you're wrong. i think if you are selling sex, be it the deed itself, any small favor, or just sexually arousing someone by putting a leather whip to their ass, you are a whore.

Really? I can count all the times I've ever heard a whore say no on one hand, that's pretty indiscriminate to me. As I pay several of you little shits and have to listen to you fucking whine every time you stub your toe and kick out the motherfuckers that get a little too rough, yeah, I do know you little fuckers do.

You can think I'm wrong all you want. I don't give a shit what you think because you could think that the universe is run by happy little pink elephants that shit rainbows and smell like roses. I don't know and I don't fucking care. However, if you'd like to come over here and call me a whore to my face, I'll happily rip out your fucking tongue and make stew out of it.
