Tell me if I really saw you on here, or if it was just my imagination.

I'm thoroughly reassured that I haven't entirely made a fool of myself. How are you, Alexis?

A king? I suppose you could call mine a king as well, if he had things his way I'm fine. It's been a bit of difficult month, to be truthful. How long have you had a king in your head?

a king, yes, & a snarky bastard. - perhaps 'fine' isn't the word you're looking for, sweetheart.

Which king? The one who just wrote recently?

Perhaps not. [...] I told you I was seeing someone?

He is a snarky thing, it seems. How are you faring with him?

Not doing all that well, I'm afraid. Hence the difficult month. Amongst other things. Did you get to experience the memories?

i know. it's very entertaining. that, & he's gay. perfect fit.

i didn't. what was it?

You're lucky. Not everyone gets off so easily. He is certainly entertaining, if that posting is anything to go by. I'm not familiar with the work he's from.

It was a concentrated period of being forced to relive random memories of other people within our community of doubles. i saw but i can't ever tell anyone I saw some memories belonging to my alter's brother oh fine adoptive brother.

so i've noticed. i'm glad. being inwardly tortured is not my thing. - the series is pretty popular right now. a song of ice & fire, they're called. i read them a long time ago.

i'm glad i missed that. i take it they weren't pleasant.

I think I have heard of them, now that you mention it. Aren't they a show, as well? I'm not caught up on my reading, or my telly watching.

Not fun, no.

[...] Can I ask you a question that might seem [...] biased toward your profession?

yes. game of thrones. but you shouldn't watch it, mssr. it's nearly pornographic.

please do.

a myriad of ways: rehab. AA. dr. phil. a friend. loss. the power of our lord and savior, jesus christ. some had no choice.

[...] The someone I've been seeing has some problems in that area. I made sure he got into rehab, but I don't know if it's going to be enough. He's already trying to find people to break him out.

No. I've dealt with addicts when I still worked for law enforcement, of course, but never in guiding them down the road to recovery.

If I don't help? I don't know. I don't think so. I just discovered all the progress he made before this relapse was because his alter was nudging him along, and now that alter refuses to help.

In intimate detail. He informed me that it isn't his job to help Evan, while also summarily blaming me for everything that's happened. Not a pleasant individual.

[info]sonrisa

i believe that.

what do you want to happen?

(Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

[info]toberuled

I want Evan to be well. I want everything to go back to the way it was, when he was getting better. And I'm starting to think that might not be in the cards, anymore.

[...] But enough about me, and my silly woes. What have you been doing? Hopefully your love life has a better landscape than mine.

unforunately, this isn't a situation that is under your control. unlike some things, i can't advise you to do what you want to do - to change the world to better fit in your palm. i'm sorry for that. all i can say is - be patient, be kind, be loving, but know it's not up to you. beating yourself up about it won't change that.

oh, louis, you're so quaint.
