Locked to Bruce W., A. Pennyworth
[She feels strange locking it to Alfred as well since he's already going to see it as she writes, but this way he can see it through the door too. She knows who Bruce is thanks to Alfred, but doesn't know whose head he's in on the Vegas side, so for the moment it's just locked to the three of them.
Not long after her first trip through the door, Iris starts reading. Watching movies and television. "Researching". She becomes a familiar sight to the guys at a local comic book shop, the slightly strange woman in thick glasses who sometimes pulls out a magnifying glass to look at things, always asking things about Batman and buying books. Ordering things that aren't in stock or going to the library to try to find things. And as she reads/watches, she takes notes in her strangely large, careful handwriting.
It's mainly in the form of lists. Her very first list is an attempt to catalog all of the Batman-related things she's able to find - comics, movies, television, cartoons. There are stars next to two movie titles near the top of the list. Another list is of Robins, in order, notes on their names, things they like, comments about their personalities. There's a little star by Damian's name, and extra notes there. Another list is villains. Even though she hates that list and doesn't want to think about it, she tries to be as detailed as possible. But there's so many of them. Catwoman appears on the villain list, but at some point, Iris goes back and adds a question mark, circling it several times. After she starts on that one, she also quickly begins a list of allies.
Her notes are slow-going, forming over the course of days and weeks. It gives her something to do, something concrete to focus on, and she feels that it might hopefully, somehow, be helpful.]
