The hotel seems like it's capable, somehow (magic?), of anything. It makes sense to be worried. Even if one doesn't like one's Other, at least it's a known entity, right? It's better than who KNOWS what. Uncertainty always breeds fear. For all we know, the hotel could put US in each other's heads. Wouldn't that be fun? I think that's the real question here.
