I figured, if you're still talking to me and not running for the hills. Or trying to "fix me". [Long pause. She's debating whether to bring it up at all.] I lost the boy that I loved back when I lived in Seattle. He [...] was a crimefighter. Vigilante. Kind of like Spider-Man. Anyway. He was killed one night after the man I'm engaged to now told him to go out and fight this monster of a man he'd been fighting.
