I know. I guess I've always hoped it would be something she would grow out of one day, that she'd shed like a useless skin. Hasn't happened, though.

Yeah, I hoped the same. I don't know if it'll ever happen at this point. But she deserves better than to think so poorly of herself, you know?

I couldn't agree more. [...] It's just going to take time, I think. This whole thing, being kids, I think it was hard on everybody, especially for someone like Wren who has so much absolute shit in her past.
