[public]

Does anyone else find it odd and slightly uncomfortable to be so excited about seeing a movie or reading a book or play a game knowing that someone could possibly share their head with a person in this [...] Not as though that has stopped me, of course, but reading and watching sources seems strange now.

[locked to dani s.]

How goes it, beautiful? Not too busy morphing into a little party animal?

[call to alexander p.]

Ring, ring

I would think it better to join the police department if that's their goal, but that's just my opinion. [there's a soft hum of thought, and he's quite sure he knows who his brother is referring to, but he doesn't let in on that]

That doesn't seem to be the best of arrangements. You're worried about him?

[A noise of disagreement. Nick's a guy who grew up with Batman and Superman and all those other heroes as his role models, but he isn't about to argue that with his brother.] I am. I don't know if it could damage his mind permanently, and I especially do not like what his alter has been up to already. Do you think something like this could really harm him? Or if it happened to anyone for that matter?

It's really hard to tell without previous experiences to fall back on. As for what his 'alter', is that what you're calling it? is up to, if it's damaging to his life, I would be more concerned about that. Even if his mind is fine, social and personal damage could be worse.

You're right. [A strained pause and a grunt of concern.] He, the alter, managed to get my friend married on our side. The Las Vegas side. I say that's fairly damaging.

But not completely impossible to reverse, yes?

No, I'm looking into Las Vegas marriage laws as we speak. I don't know how aware he is, but I want him to be armed with the information he needs. I just...don't like the idea that this...people can control us if they please.

Do you know if something happened that prompted this... take over, if that's what we want to call it? Because that's the first step in prevention is finding the cause.

An annulment shouldn't be that difficult. Does your friend know what has happened?

Apparently, they sealed their door shut. We've--each person who has one of these people also have doors to go through where the other person is supposed to take control. The doors are the only way they can actually be themselves, I guess. In their own bodies. But they sealed their door somehow, and his alter isn't really happy right now.

I don't think so? I'll have to try to get it out of him and the other guy when he comes home.
