No, of course not that's why you have me.

I want you to look at two pictures and tell me the first thing that comes to mind.

[The first picture that pops up is a square headed boy around five with a dirty face and bright, Russian blue eyes. The second is a boy a little older in a suit with the same bright blue eyes and almost silver blonde hair. He's healthier looking, but the family similarities are obvious.]

Something I told you a long time ago, back when you were a kitten, made me think the answer is right in front of our faces.

Look. This is a picture of Lenny. [He pulls up a picture of a twenty-something year old who looks like he's been to Blackgate and back.] Lenny was a henchman for me who grew up on the streets, but not before living at the orphanage. Now, he's an old picture of one of Falcone's best and brightest when he was around that age. [It's a picture from the 80's. Tough looking man with the same big Italian eyes as Lenny and a similar jawline.]

After all, the mortality rate in Gotham's unimportant goons is especially high. Are you saying the Falcones thought they were going to find someone useful in the bunch that mattered? Imagine you're a crime lord. Imagine that family is very important to you and your enemy. Now, imagine if someone got their hands on one of your bastard children and used it as leverage. It seems like a silly notion, but the gang wars have gotten worse without crazy people to cull the herd. They're killing each other so much that they must be turning to more desperate measures.

They wanted those kids because they are living, breathing secrets. Debilitating, family ruining secrets. I know for a fact Falcone himself has sent at least one bastard princess there, so why not the Russians? Why not the rest of the most powerful men in the underworld?

	What you're supposed to do with bastard children is drown them, but I'm guessing there's still some good hearts in Gotham somewhere. So, they get sent to the underworld's orphanage and get taught that the only thing they can do with their lives is steal and sell their bodies. I think they're looking for one valuable child. Good. Because the Falcones are always going to be easier to reason with and I still have some ties with them, as I know you do. We don't have Harvey or even Jim Gordon, so we're going to have to do this our way. Okay?

Well, I've heard a couple different stories. The one I believe is she started out as a prostitute with her best friend, Holly. She had a bad pimp that slapped the girls around and Selina had enough of it. She hits the streets fighting, but it's Batman who inspired her to become a symbol. [...] Don't feel too bad about that. Batman inspires all of us.

I was in the orphanage until I was 11, and we all know where I went after that. When I was 16, I got offered a job where I got to keep my clothes on. It was as a little assistant type for local Russian businessmen, but I didn't get to stay there very long. I stumbled on some files on their computer. My name was there, and I got nosy. Well, I didn't actually get to see anything before they rushed in to kill me. I ran for it, but they shot me off the top of their building anyway. A tarp and some cats broke my fall, and the rest is history.

[Blink.] This is part of my therapy, trust me. Besides, Steph is learning how to be a social worker. She can't get mad at me for helping Gotham kids out.

If it's as bad as I think it is. My power comes in the form of technical know how. If it's anything that's not a giant weapon that I can override, then the big dogs need to be called in. It's tactical. We see what it is and plan from there, kitty cat.

No. Nooo. I mean she helps. She does. It's this. Taking down super prisons. Finding a way to make the Russians eat dirt. That's the only way to keep the riddles behind for good. And, before you get cute it's not about doing the right thing. It's a puzzle. A kind of puzzle I'm not trained to solve.
