Atwood, Rachel K, Alexander T
[Locked to Atwood]

Could I ask you to look into something for me?

[Locked to Rachel K]

You're not too bogged down with papers to have coffee with me, are you?

[Locked to Alexander T]

Anything else interesting happening?

[Public]

Please tell me these sandstorms aren't the norm. I may have to reconsider staying here if that is the case.

Figuratively or literally?

I'm not too busy for coffee but it is my heavy class day so I've got a huge backpack full of things. It might need a seat.

Would you rather just have coffee with your backpack? I'm sure that can be arranged. Though I don't think your backpack is a very good conversationalist.

It's not. It just hangs around and makes everything a lot more complicated. If it's a bother, I can try to give it something so it's preoccupied. A book or maybe some pumpkin cheesecake.

I can carry it, if you'd like. We can save the cheesecake for us, then.

I've got a long-ish break right now. As long as I can be back in time for my last class, I should be good.

Wait.

I'm a sucker for singing mice. Besides, Snow White used to just lie there and wait around for someone to save her. The one I grew up with, at least.

Be more impressed by the singing mice. Not only were they vertically challenged but they weren't even remotely humanoid.

Beyond the end of the sand storm? No, though we had to take the candles outside of the house to keep them from continually being re-lit. The lights still turn on, and there are odd creaks, but she is an old house and prone to do such.

More history on the house. It was an old property, and I didn't go back very far in my initial research. I'm worried about something that happened there, and I want to put my mind at ease.
