[ORDER]
Because I'd rather not wade into this without a tin hat:I knew about Violet. She told me, Oliver, Roger and I assume a handful of other friends after her situation before it was announced publicly. She had a bottle of Felix Felicis in her desk drawer and while she was going to use it to speak to an IMC official, she had noticed paperwork alerting the MRC to Justin Finch-Fletchley's (MB) whereabouts come through her department. She took the potion so she could get Thicknesse to sign off on this being a false lead and JFF could continue his escape. Apparently afterward, she had an um, encounter. With Dante Avery. The encounter resulted in pregnancy that she successfully hid for quite some time. With the ID tracking, she was afraid of buying products that would tip her off and enrage Purists. Please get the implication. What I've gleaned is that she informed Avery and her parents, then they arranged a marriage. I asked her why and she told me that it was easier to agree to the match than to potentially offend the Averys. Violet doesn't know that I'm in the Order or that I'm sharing the information gathering she instigates with the Order. I've been nudging her toward getting out of the country with the baby and forgetting about noble bullocks like freedom and democracy. She's afraid for her family. And she's afraid they'll take the baby away from her.
I think she wants to build a better world for her kid - one that we agree with - than what's in the Death Eaters' world view. And she doesn't agree with them. She's been there for me when I've been on the other end of Yaxley's wand. I'm sorry I didn't say anything before now and yes, I'd let it slip to Fred. I didn't want to tell anyone because she is young like me and scared, I was respecting her wishes about staying quiet and I was kind of gobsmacked by how delicate this situation truly was. I also haven't cut off communication because I wanted her to have someone in her ear affirming that Death Eaters are bad and that she should be running from them. But because it's clearly being announced: yes, all of the information I just shared is what I can affirm.
What should we do? And yes of course I'll submit to an Imperius test at any time.
Hi there. Of course I'm not going to the wedding. I hate that this is happening to her and while I expect to get an invite, I'm not going to willingly walk into a Death Eater sandwich, particularly when I have also so grossly offended my older brother by not attending his wedding. We can all agree that "Percy is stupid" but not that stupid.
I asked Fred to keep it quiet because he was going to announce it publicly and well, I don't really want to give them any more reason to target us. I also didn't want to shame a young girl and a future mum who feels like she doesn't have a lot of choices. And I would really like to help her but I'm open to the idea that this isn't the kind of person the family or the Order wants to help, so there's that.
