Misaki stared out the window at the scenery. She had been hoping to sit with Keiichi for this, but...that wasn't going to happen. Leaning back she looked around and noticed Maeko. She waved to her.

"Maeko-chan, do you know when the others are coming?"

The view from the window was, bizarre as such a thing seemed, unnatural to Maeko. She left Iburi so little, it was rare for her to see so much green outside of the skypark. And even then it was green and then a long, long drop rather than stretching out so far. It really did feel like they were on an adventure or something.

"Huh, we saw everyone at the station, right? They're probably just in different carriges." She said, turning to Misaki. "Are you looking forward to it?"

Misaki nodded and glanced at the view as it sped by fast. "It reminds me of that magical boy series. Um... Larry Trotter? It would be fun racing off to some magic castle to learn to do charms and stuff." She motioned to the book she had with her and showed her a pictue.

"See, trying to draw out something based on what I see out the window." Nodding her head she sighed some, "wonder if Keiichi is sitting with Kozue-chan, or Sonozaki-chan..." She tried to shake it off.

"I shouldn't worry much right? I mean, this is supposed to be relaxing so..."

"Those english books? I think I only read the first few..."

"Can you really draw it that accurately? We're moving so fast..." Maeko said, looking out of the window again.

"He might be sitting with Sagaki. I think they get along-" Maeko began, realizing belatedly what Misaki was implying and what it meant she was saying in context.

"-nevermind. Yeah, just relax."

"Yes, they actually got darker as the series went on." Misaki reported. "I was really sad about the cousin that died. I liked her!"

Misaki laughed, "No, I'm no where as good as Shiori-chan is. Hummm, I'm just trying to see if I can catch a pattern or something from the movements. It might be fun to make something while we're there."

The pink haired girl stared for a moment.

"You...you don't think that..." she paused. It did make sense. Both were heroic types, and both seemed invested in things. Then there was Keiichi getting close to Renju. Maybe it wasn't to get close to Renju, rather it was because he wanted to get close to Tom, but couldn't because Tom wouldn't know how to take it.

"So maybe that's why he had so much trouble with Kozue-chan. It makes sense...and hitting Kanaye-senpai was because he really..." she looked at Maeko shocked. " I think you're on to soemthing there."

"Ah! The cousin died? Oh man, I'm glad I stopped reading! I wouldn't want to see that..." Maeko said, clearly now spoiled.

The rare sound of gears turning in Misaki's head was a terrifying one.

Wait what.

Wait what.

"...what." She said, thought it was more a strangled sound than a word, looking away in an unsuccessful attempt to disguise the fact that she was blushing furiously.

"Well there's more to it then that." Misaki explained and blushed. "But really you should read it."

"Um...well it does really. I mean they are both nice looking, and both seem to have the same motivations," Misaki muttered blushing some. "And it would explain why of all people the shadow killed Tom. I mean...maybe it was sexual tension that keiichi kun couldn't take?"

"I will, I guess. Once I've finished what I'm reading now."

She shook head head wildly for a second in what seemed to be an attempt to make her cheeks go back to thier normal colour.

"Um...I don't think it was that..."

"We could read together. Like read the stories?" Misaki smiled sweetly, "Then talk about them. I'd like to read them over again."

Titling her head some she inquired, "Humm..but they would look cute though."

"Sure, I guess. I'll let you know when I start reading them."

"...They would? I wouldn't have really thought so..." Maeko said, not entirely convinced but glad the conversation was no longer about Keiichi and her boyfriend.

"Great. I'd love to know what you thought of the characters later in the series." misaki grinned at her and tilted her head.

"Well they both have nice features I guess," She turned her eyes to outside then back. "Oh by the way. Keiichi and I were talking about getting everyone together to make dinner one of these nights. You think the others will help out? or are we goint to be," she chuckled "Resident Chefs, until we leave?"

"Okay, I'll tell you when I know, then."

She thought. "I'm not really such a great cook but I'll help prepare ingrediants and stuff if you need me to. I'm sure if everyone's food depends on it more people'll be happy to help."

"This is going to be fun then," Misaki nodded. "I'm so glad that they put them in paperback. The first copies were huge."

Misaki nodded and smiled, "It'll be a fun event to do. Everyone can make their own sort of dish. Provided we have the ingrediants for it."

Maeko nodded, tapping the large book on her lap with her knuckles. "Yeah, huge books are such a pain to read and carry around."

"Yeah, that sounds fun. If it's sweets I can probably make it myself."

"Well if you ever get tired of carrying it, I'll hold it for you." Misaki laughed and smiled.

"Great then can I put you down for making desert?" She beamed at maeko and tapped her fingers over the top of the sketch book. Blushing some she opened it and held it up to Maeko. "Umm...um...what...what do you think for you. Which one do you like?"

She held out the sketch book to Maekeo and showed her the outfits that she had drawn out.

"Do you like any? I was...I was thinking about the fashion club and well, I wanted to get some stuff going.

"Sure, I guess. Don't count on it being too great, though. Usually I just cook for myself."

She looked, honestly not really good at these things.

"Um, the one on the left is nice, I guess? Are you still wanting that club set up?"

"I'm sure it will turn out very good." Misaki beamed at her. And glanced down at the left one. She made a mark next to it and made a note.

"Do you think I can take a picture of you like later, so I can get your measurements. I want to make sure that I have them all right." Misaki said with a smile. Then nodded, "Yeah I want to. It should be a lot of fun."

"At least one of us is." She said, turning to look out of the window again. The scenery flying by really did make it feel like an adventure.

"Sure, I guess!" She said, nodding. "I'll get to work on the papers we need once I get back. I'll try to get support from a teacher. I'm not sure if I'll be able to get anything paste Retsu-senpai for a while."

"You shouldn't doubt your cooking. You really can make delicious food, Maeko-chan." Misaki told her and glanced out the window. "Hey check out that town. Doesn't it look like something out of one of those old stories about the bamboo cutter?"

"Don't worry about him, if not then we can make it an unoffical secreat club, and be the envy of the whole school because we're like...umm...viral. I think that's the word." Misaki giggled and smiled. "Thank you so much maeko-chan. You are the best you know that."
