Who: Misaki and open

Why: Just wanting to think and try to destress

How many times had she played the Trap fall game in the last couple of hours? Ten, twenty? She had lost count, and going online had not helped any. She'd read some fanfiction to get her mind off everything.

Tom had died, he actually died. Yes he was brought back, but, he had died. Physically, his body had stopped working and...

Misaki visibly shuddered. She'd heaved when she got back to her dorm room. Things had not gotten better, dreams of birds attacking her, strange masked faced creatures chasing her down, a river with no end and the dead around her, becoming lost in a hospital with faceless puppets bearing down upon her with hands outstreched. Worst of all the laughing face of her shadow, skin made of lace, holding her in a glass bottle, and she was unable to get out. She felt like she was going insane.

Now she was going to add Tom's lifeless form, along with Keiichi's and a crazy shadow demigod poser wrapped in a japanese flag to her nightmares. It was enough to make her sick. She wondered how the others were doing as she looked around the stores and paused by a window. When was the last time she'd dyed her hair? Two months ago, going on three maybe...she didn't remember, it had been a while. She could see the roots in her alburn hair coming out, and it really looked sad.

Glancing around she noticed a hair salon and wondered if she could get it colored. She heistated some, touching the locks and looking at the window. Blue eyes peered back, false eyes, the color that she liked. Eyes that were only there to make her stand out, get noticed in some way. Misaki had been wondering if it was a good way, really. Even if people sometimes told her they looked good, in reality she'd been given strange looks by those around her. She didn't like just being part of the crowd though, she never had.

Taking a breath she made up her mind to cross the street, and looked around to see if anyone was coming.

"Thank you Maeko-chan," Misaki smiled brightly and then paused and laughed, "I just mean that, well, you tend to know what you want, or at least don't go spacey. I just...I seem to float a lot. I know I want to do fashion, but like that's it. I can't seem to do a lot on my own, which isn't good. But you...you're always able to focus on your homework and do so well. You have a really good work ethic, that's something that my dad said that is a really good thing for someone to have."

Misaki though about it and then laughed, "Maybe I should make it Blue just to freak out Oubai-senpai. You looked pretty with the pink hair, he looked just strange with blue hair."

	"I don't do well." Maeko corrected, shrugging. "You don't work had because you want to do well, that kind of thing's judged by natural talent. You work hard so you're not a waste of skin." "You work hard so you're not a waste of skin? But you're not a waste of skin, Maeko-chan. Yes you do, you get things faster then me, you also know how to do all that web stuff, and you're really good at showing people how to do things when you want to." Misaki pointed out. "Like with the forms. I would have had no clue how to fill them out."

"You looked pretty," Misaki smiled. "I mean I don't think you want to dye your hair pink, but it looked nice on you." She thought a moment and shook her head, "I'd look like my head fell into blue mold or something."

She reached out and grabbed maeko by the hand just then, "Would you come with me please? To the salon? I want someone there with me. Can you please Maeko-chan?"

Misaki paused, how to explain it and thought a moment. "You know how, if you were going to get glasses, you would want the right pair because it can be really expensive? Well it's like that for me right now. I usually dye my own hair because it's less expensive or bring it in so it costs less. This is actually paying for both dyes and pretty much getting it cut and styled, and my hair doesn't grow back very fast."

"But I mean do you think they're weird if they're not really your real color?" Misaki asked genuinely. "I don't know if I should take them out, I'm starting to wonder if they bother Satou-senpai."

Misaki wanted to laugh, not at her but rather that Maeko wasn't sure about it, so she just let it pass and nodded.

"I'm nervous because I'm going back to my hair color and it's going to look strange seeing it without so much pink," She touched her locks and laughed, "But at least now Oubai senpai can't complain all that much, right?"

Misaki nodded, "I guess I could try not wearing them for a while. See if I get a postive reaction, and if not, I'll just wear them again. Senpai's lucky, he's got them naturally blue, I don't know why people don't seem to like them. Blue is a pretty color."

She glanced over at the salon and looked down, "I guess you can see I"m stalling."

"Oubai'll complain no matter what. He's like an automatic complain-o-tron or something." Maeko said, shrugging. "You shouldn't try to please him, it'll just get you down."

She flinched at the 'lucky' thing. Had Misaki been blind and deaf all the way through Tom's dungeon? "You really shouldn't say that. It's very inconsiderate." She said, frowning. "Just go in."

"Heh, put a coin in and rather then a fortune come out you get a complaint." Misaki laughed. She nodded some and smiled at Maeko. "I still can't believe what he and Kozue said in the dungeon about her hair. I mean, I understand people liking the traditional look but I always thought her hair was pretty."

Misaki paused, "Sorry I...I just don't see why people react so badly to eyes. They're just color, it's not like that is the person."

"Will you come with me? Or would you rather wait outside."
