When: Midday-ish. After everything.
Why: Maybe someone'll actually get somewhere with issues.

Maeko had, for a reason that will be confirmed when DSM gets back to me about it, managed to get Misaki safe or something.

She 'd stayed at Kigakiga after her shift was done (territory again. If they were going to have this sort of conversation then she wanted some comfort she could cling to.), bought herself some strawberry mochi icecream and texted Kanaye.

Free now. At Kigakiga.

"Really? That sounds interesting!" It really kind of didn't. But.

"I don't think anything could, really. But okay."

She wrapped her arms around Kanaye's cheerfully and walked in the direction of the station.
