Misaki was sitting on the bed and sighed as she read what happened at the party after her little vanishing act with Keiichi. She felt bad about what had happened earlier in the evening and knew that Maeko was going to probably have something to say about it. She was mentally prepared for anything.

Her body was still sore, and she had to wonder if her clothing still had a smell from...No she wouldn't dare to think like that. Maeko would probably freak out if she knew.

	"Yes, that YOU need to be careful with it. It's not my place you make your choices for you-" Maeko trailled off. Awful, awful choice of wording. "I'm going to go home for the night. 	"I'm not going for long, I'll be back tomorrow." Maeko said, finally finding the socks but also finding that the contents of her bag and spilled out onto the bed when Misaki pulled it. Misaki paused, "I don't believe you. I know I had to have said something. You would have mentioned this earlier. What did I say Maeko chan. It's not fair to just run out on me when I said something to upset you and I don't know what that is."

She looked at the contents and pulled them all up and put them behind her sitting on the bed. "I'm not letting you leave until you tell me what I did to make you want to leave Maeko-chan."

	"Not until you tell me why you're so upset." Misaki said holding the book tightly. She knew this was childish, but still she just wanted to know what upset her. She sat there watching quietly. She looked up at Maeko, "I know this is childish. But I want to know what I said that was so wrong. I...I don't want you to leave Maeko." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

"Trivializing...but I'm not! I'm just trying to get you to see that you should maybe look things over in a different way. I...I don't know what I said to hurt you, but I'm sorry if I did. All I ment in saying what I was saying was that...you tell me it's my choices right? That you shouldn't be responsible for the choices I make. But what if those choices are endangering not only me but you as well. Why wouldn't you tell me to stop if I was doing something like that." Misaki said plainly hoping it sounded right.

She sighed and held out her book, "I'm not trying to trivialize anything, I'm just trying to find examples to make you think, that's all. Because, I guess, there are things that I can see that you can't see, and I'm sure there are vice versa things that you can see but I can't."

Misaki looked up at her, "If you feel that I'm disgusting you I'm sorry, but a lot of how I view things comes from having to see things that maybe you didn't." She shrugged, "I still don't know what disgusted you, the smokeing or the train thing."

"You compared drinking to suicide!" Maeko snapped. "Why would you even- why would you say something like that?!"

She forced herself to calm down briefly, her speech slowly becoming taken away by hiccups. "I-if...if" Hiccup. "I-if you or Senpai ever" Hiccup. "ever did something like that..." Hiccup hiccup hiccup.

Annoyed at the hiccups and at Misaki and at herself and at everything else in the world, she gave up on explaining and decided to yell incoherently instead. "You're bad and your mouth is bad and you should shut your bad mouth! I'm sleeping."

And with that she dived under the covers of her bed depite being folly clothed and fell silent aside from the occasional hiccup.

Misaki paused and looked at her, got up and noddded, "You're right...I shouldn't have put it that way. But...but I was trying to make a point though Maeko chan. I was trying to find a way to explain how I was seeing it. If a person is doing something that's dangerous, even if you think it's not your responsiblity to do something, you should still do something. If not, then...well you're just helping them in a way."

She looked down, "Maeko-chan, I would Never...never in a thousand...no ten thousand years do something like that to you or anyone. I care about you too much. I'm not an idiot, I wouldn'...I woul-would never," tears were starting to come and she tried to stop them. "Never wan-want to pu-put you through that pain."

Misaki sat down next to the bed. "I know I say stuipid things Maeko, but...I didn't...I was just...I was just trying to find a way to explain what I meant," and failed to do so misrablely she thought. Misaki put her head down on the covers near Maeko and said softly, "Na-Nayuki sempai said something to me once, when I was upset and really angry...and I didn't know what to do. And...And I know I'm the person that did this to you but..."

Misaki closed her eyes, took a breath and recited,

"I cannot erase the ache in your heart, nor take your pain away. But, let me stay and take your hand, and walk with you today. I'll listen when you need to talk, even wipe away your tears.
Share your worries when they come, I'll help you face your fears. I'm here today to stand by you, with each hill you have to clib. Look up, Let go and take a stand. And live just one day at a time.
You're not alone, and I'm now here to help reach that extra mile. And when your grief is easier, I'll see you with a smile."

	Maeko stuck a single arm out of the covers, pulling her pillows further down the bed then did the same to feel around her toy bear. "Sleeping!" She snapped from under the cover so that Misaki knew she was sleeping. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Misaki nodded and got up. Before she could honestly stop herself she grabbed a pillow off her bed and her blanket and hurried quietly out of the room. Heading down to the living space for the students, she found the room black and dark and well, fell to sleep. "If she can't stand me living with her I'll get my own room," Misaki muttered quietly and tried to sleep. (Reply to this) (Parent)
