Misaki was sitting on the bed and sighed as she read what happened at the party after her little vanishing act with Keiichi. She felt bad about what had happened earlier in the evening and knew that Maeko was going to probably have something to say about it. She was mentally prepared for anything.

Her body was still sore, and she had to wonder if her clothing still had a smell from...No she wouldn't dare to think like that. Maeko would probably freak out if she knew.

"Yes you are! When I tell you something important you just seem to freeze up and change subjects, just like she does. It drives me crazy!" Misaki snapped back and crossed her arms.

"It means you can be thick! You can't see whats happening in front of you, or you choose to ignore it! That's what it means. Oh but wait..you'll want to change the subject about that too! My misake."

"I already did that like I told you! Why do you keep having to change the subject! God like I said you're acting like my Mother! " Misaki shouted back and frowned. "Why can't you for once just listen and get the point of what I'm saying to you! You act like I confuse you, but you confuse me more then anything!"

"How do I throw tantrums! I get upset because you act like things aren't important! You ignore things that could be vital to both of us, and then try to walk away from conflicts that you can't solve that moment! Things take time!" Misaki growled back.

"Well your mother isn't always wrong! It's no wonder she's trying to force you into her ideal careers when you're absolutely useless on your own!" Maeko yelled. "And if you want me to get the point why not just say it instead of hiding it behind so much worthless subjective crap!"

"Whenever I've tried to tell you the truth you've responded by crying until someone feels sorry for you. It's hardly encouraging! And there's no point in working at unsolvable conflicts, they're unsolvable!"

If there was one thing Misaki hated hearing was being called useless, she twiched and clenched her fists. "Well it's kind of hard to know what to do when you've only been told since the day you were born that you're the one that wasn't really wanted! I'm the seventh child, the unwanted one, the one that can't do what she wants."

"Because I can't be blunt to you and Go, 'Hey Maeko-chan I'm in love with you!' Would you rather I have done that?! Do you know how hard it was to even say that to you!"

"Oh yes telling me that you need to break up being friends with me after all the shit that your shadow did was a brillant way to be honest Maeko-chan. Nothing is unsolvable until you've tried every angle to find a solution! It's like saying you can't make a dress because it's not possible due to the fabric!" She was glareing heatedly.

"You follow the rules like everyone else does! It's not hard and they're there for a reason! You do it whether you're wanted or not. And take responsibility for your own actions! Maybe she'd have a little more faith in you if you could understand basic instructions!"

"Why not? All you're doing by padding it out is making swomething that's difficult last longer!"

Oh you mean like 'Misaki, go into science so that I can brag to my colleges that I have a daughter following in my footsteps.' or 'Misaki I want you to try to find a man in college so that you'll be taken care of.' or how about, 'Misaki take care of your younger siblings and give them the attention that I can't since I'm too busy trying to suck up to the president of the university so I can eventually get the post of Chairwoman of the whole damn thing!'" Misaki snapped back. "You mean like those instructions Maeko-chan, insisting that I do exactly what she wants for the rest of my god forsaken life! There are rules yes, but some SHOULD be broken when they are unfounded or just plain dumb. Like if someone told you you shouldn't go hanging out with the girl from you middle school who's older then you because her family isn't into the academic area. Like that rule? Or how about the one telling me that I shouldn't WANT to move in with my best friend. That it's a waste of money! How's that for rules...you like those rules?"

"Yes It's the truth, and yes I hated to hear it, and you know what I'm glad now that I heard it becuase it tells me that you can be honest. Now be that honest about other things too!" Misaki snapped back and gritted her teeth.

"Padding it! Oh you think it's so easy to tell someone how you feel? You think you can just snap your fingers and there it's done? For the love of...Okay fine if you think it's that easy. That I shouldn't pad things then fine!" She threw up her hands, grabbed Maeko by the shoulders and gave her a kiss. "There hows that for non Padding!"

"I'm not going to be if you just cry until the matter's dropped when I do! Like you did about five minutes ago!"

"Of course snapping you fingers wouldn't help, that's not saying anything at-" Maeko was suddenly interrupted.

She managed to find her voice again after a few seconds (which was quite quick, all things considered).

"...what."

	Misaki took a few breaths and said it again, "I said I loved you and I ment it okay. I ment what I said. I need you to understand that I meant it okay, and you're right ...I do cry about things, but I don't want you to just drop the subject just because I start to cry."
